I can't see Everton surviving. I see 6 points at most. Leeds have an awful run in, but if I am right, two draws or 1 win should see them safe.
That should have been a yellow. Also would be interesting to know when in the game it occurred (would Klopp have had to do another "tectical" sub etc) .
That Wolves result gives even less reason to West Ham to bother turning up tomorrow. Bloody typical. I was admiring Lage's work there but they've now lost 3 on the trot, all to teams below them and without scoring a single goal.
Why? If West Ham win tomorrow they go above us on level games and go into actual European competition instead of the ****ty conference thing.
True, but having the worry that you might miss out on European football entirely gives double the motivation. Wolves have a horrendous run-in, I can't see them picking up more than 3 points and West Ham will probably think the same. So yes, the question now is how much they want EL football versus how much they want to risk Conference football by putting absolutely everything into their current Euro campaign. The risk is the Conference league but the potential prize is obviously CL football. It's a tough, tough call and Moyes hasn't got the squad to juggle both.
Skilful player but can’t see Spurs splashing money on him because at his age there is no resale value possible. But yeah personally I’d happily sell Bergwijn and Lucas and have Zaha instead
West Ham are only 3 points behind Utd with a game in hand, can’t see Moyes giving up on a top 6 finish just yet
United's run-in is far easier on paper. West Ham have only really got one more game that's a 'gimme': Arsenal H Norwich A City H Brighton A Like I said, I struggle to see them getting more than 6 points out of that.
Its a no brainer. Risk it all on a potential lucrative cl spot and glory of a European trophy Or Another trip to europy.
Yeah that’s probably true, albeit I do think football (and to a degree, Spurs) are moving on from solely thinking of resale values. The amount of players playing well into their 30s now and not slowing up is mad, I’d like to think if the club ever did consider signing him or someone of a similar level and age that they wouldn’t be put off for those reasons.
