Good of you to admit you’re wrong. As you can see it’s what I said at the time. And above you can see there are three situations and this falls into the second one.
Coutinho links? Another brazilian? Paqueta--------Wilson/New ST---------Almiron/New RW? ---------Joelinton--Bruno--Coutinho-------------- Targett-------Burn-------Carlos/Botman---Trippier -----------------------Dubz-------------------------------
If We've got Wilson, wood and this young lad I'd say we've got enough for this stage in the rebuild. Maybe they sign another, but I doubt it.... I mean people hoping for Nunez I just can't see it. It would blow the entire budget and he'll get loads of offers.
No we don't. Wood is not good enough, we may as well have signed Andy Carroll, as he is better at winning headers and holding up a ball. He can't score for **** but neither can wood. Wilson is often injured for a big portion of the season, we cannot rely on him. This lad is 19 years old, and could take time to build. We need a proven striker that can stay fit and score at this level.
Man city don't even use a striker... The days of relying on one player to score goals is ending. We're winning games and that's without Wilson, Trippier and this potential signing. I would be fine with that being the only striker added because they'll likley sign a few more Brazilian players in other areas which will create chances for Wilson and wood. Is wood really getting many chances?
