he literally bosses our midfield. I’m not surprised longstaff was so ****ing **** today, I’d struggle to do absolutely anything playing alongside this guy…I’d be watching him all afternoon! seriously tho, he’s done more in about 5 or 6 games than some players have done in years at our club. What I love most about him though is how quickly he seems to have settled. He seems to have built up so much a good relationship with everyone at the club in such a short space of time. He gets the club, he gets the fans and he just generally gets what it means to pull that black and white shirt on every game. You just know what you’re gonna get from him week in week out and if he can install that mentality in to a few more of our players (current and future) it’s gonna be hell of a rollercoaster ride for the next few years and hopefully beyond!
Head and shoulders above the good premier players. The question is, how long will he be here? Real Madrid sniffing apparenty, maybe the affinity with the fans will keep him here?
It is a concern given their genuine pull. They are a massive club with a huge reputation. The main plus is that Bruno came here having bought into the long term project when we were in real danger of relegation. That speaks a lot for his character. Hopefully the Toon fans have made him feel truly special and appreciated in a way that he might not get elsewhere. Real wouldn't necessarily guarantee him a game, whereas here he is a god.
