Talking of player ages, I saw a post-match tweet on Wednesday night pointing out that the Arsenal starting eleven against Chelsea (FT Chelsea 2:4 Arsenal) could just as well have started a PL2 match; i.e. only three of the eleven who started were over 23 at the beginning of the season 
Largely caused by individual errors, not something that can be laid at Smiths door
I don’t think we have played badly this half, a couple of good chances. They took theirs, we didn’t

This is a very poor game. Newcastle will need another 100m to get anywhere near a decent team. And yet we have gifted them the win.
