    Match Preview;
    Stoke head into this game with very little to play for. They could potentially finish as high as 8th, but that is highly unlikely, or as low as 16th. Essentially, they don't have anything substantial to play for. Their top scorer is Jacob Brown, who has 13 goals so far this year. They have some very experienced players in their side, including Phil Jagielka and Joe Allen. Here's hoping that they will, mentally at least, already be on their summer break.

    As for us, still the faintest chance of a playoffs, but highly unlikely. Three wins will get us to 72 points, and could get us into a playoff place...too early for us in my opinion. League table aside, there is a lot of competition for top scorer for the season...Chair, Dykes and Gray are all on 9 goals a piece.

    From the official;
    Team News:
    QPR: Jordan Archer, David Marshall, Seny Dieng, Rob Dickie, Moses Odubajo and Chris Willock will miss out for the R’s, with Lee Wallace a doubt.

    Stoke City: Nick Powell is edging closer to a return, but Harry Souttar continues to miss out

    Pre-match talk:

    Mark Warburton (QPR Manager): “Saturday will be a stern test - Stoke had a good result and clean sheet against Blackburn last time out.

    "They have a very experienced squad, and pace and power run in their team, too. They are a dangerous team with international players.

    "We've got to recognise that, but we know we have quality as well and we have to go there without fear and move the ball well.

    "We have to be on the front foot and aggressive in our approach. We'll take confidence of course from our last two performances (against Derby and Huddersfield) and we know what we have to do."

    Dean Holder (Stoke City Assistant Manager): “QPR are a very good team, they have players especially in the attacker areas who are very dangerous on their day.

    "They have come off the gas a little bit in recent weeks, in terms of not picking up the results they would necessarily would have wanted but they are still just three points off the play-offs.

    "For us it is about identifying their strengths and how to deal with them, but equally we need to look at where their vulnerabilities lie and making sure that we get the balance right once again."

    Enjoy if you are making it to the game, and as always...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!

    The home game against Stoke was when their 'keeper had a phenomenal game. Deserved the 3 points all on his own.

    See we lost that, probably why I don't remember it! But see we won 2-0 up there last May with goals from Austin and Kakay. A repeat of that would do nicely.

    Well, here we are again, facing Stoke City, the team l dislike the most ( for personal reasons ) so after having several losses that we didn't or expect, l'd really hope we can rally as a team and smash them. I'll settle for a win but would prefer a solid 3-0 win. We fans have been force to settle with a slide down the table but they can sort of make amends but getting us a result.

    C'om you R'rsssss!

    Tough game ahead. Stoke have derailed a few top teams in the last month or so; beating Sheff Utd, Blackburn and Millwall. With us and ‘Boro as their next couple of games they could certainly end some teams hopes for a play-off place.

    Hopefully our growing performances, and results, will be able to bring us a 3-pointer and keep a tense run-in alive.

    Did I hear it's a calf injury?
    If he's out for three months I presume he must have torn it badly.

    Yeah think it's a calf. WLS suggesting he might have played his last for us which seems a bit dirty given it'll be hard to find another club being injured through the summer and pre-season.

    Yep unfortunate but that's football, we were the only club to give him any sort of contract after he'd been injured on and off fir the previous few seasons. Its harsh but we really do have to start looking at bringing in old crocks that are past their best and highly likely to get injured again. Sure its cheap but it catches up with you in the end. Its certainly been a contributing factor to our downward spiral.

    I read Moses has played for us 33 times this season which isnt bad for a player with is previous history.

    We will win today, simply because this will compel me to go to the game against the Blades, which is bloody awkward all round, with the stupid day and kick off time, especially because the boy wants to come (if we win today) and he doesn’t get off work until gone five, necessitating a mad dash down the M40.

    QPR are just the sort of bloody minded, **** you rabble to squeeze a win where a calm, respectable draw would be fine all round.

    Stoke 1 (Bloke 76) QPR 2 (Dykes 34, Amos 90+4)
