Now I look it up yeah, it was a draw, but I think we were beating the FA cup holders until the obligatory 34,000 substitutions midway through the second half.
Barca scored twice in 11 minutes of added time but still lost 3-2 on the night and 4-3 on agg....... oh dear, never mind, what a shame........
Lyon fans bringing disgrace to their club again........ after being kicked out of French Cup and a point deduction in the League.... Supporters are trying to get on the pitch and there's been some very violent scenes from both ends of Lyon supporters. It's been quite nasty since the full-time whistle. It's a sour end to this game. But this is West Ham's night.

Six of the sides above us dropping points so far today … is the chase is on? 16:43 Update: Cov back in front and Blackburn now in front! Chase is distant again, rest easy.
WRDC love in going on in the Sky commentary........ Apparently it's quite staggering what's happened to this football club sine they just missed out on promotion under Frank Lampard............ No it's not, they've spent way more than their income, they sold off the ground and training ground to the club owner as a dodge on FFP and they've cooked the accounts and failed to submit accounts for the last 4 years........ so what's staggering is that they weren't relegated last season and avoided a points deduction.........
Yep, absolutely. Although the way these transgressions are punnished, seems far too punitive imo, putting clubs on the brink of going bust. As for Rooney, I have been surprised and impressed with the job he's done at Derby. Fulham just took the lead.
They're only going bust because of the owner's shenanagins........ This chancer who's the preferred bidder doesn't get the ground or training ground, they have to pay rent to use both, non football creditors will only get 20p in the pound on what they're owed......... but Morris gets to keep property that is over valued at £80m..... Bollox to them, they're getting everything they deserve.......
I take your point, but penalising a club to the brink of going bust seems counter intuitive. Especially when the big boys do whatever they like.
