Referee: Tony Harrington. (smoggie) Championship ref -- Only reffed 1 prem game before back in December
was 4th official v Wolves last Sunday

VAR: Craig Pawson.
Assistant VAR: Simon Bennett

If you put that lot together with Peter Bankes (Fridays ref) with 9 prem games this season
it seems like the PGMOL (Mike Riley) can't be arsed to appoint a ref with much prem experience for any of our remaining games
when some fixtures this weekend have 3 of the most senior officials doing the same game

It’s been so long I have forgotten him playing well
Hopefully they get taken to extra time and penalties on Thursday so that they are still knackered on Sunday. Watched their game against Crystal Palace on Sunday and they knock the ball around well and have a very mobile midfield, but have defensive frailties, particularly at centre back.
Suspect that unless we can go with a midfield that includes Willock, Guimares and Joelinton we will be running around in circles all game. The games I have seen them lose this season are to teams that have a go at them from the start so we need to try that.
Still think we might be able to sneak a win just because they will be knackered. Probably best if they win their European game so they concentrate on winning that and coast in the league.
Going for a 2-0 with ASM and Wood scoring.

It's CC's anti-logic. For example, if you say we'll win, then we won't.
It's a bit like ACS saying that he's having sex, or going to get a round of drinks in - will never happen.
I think that's how it works anyway.
