the bbcs become obsessed with ukraine its in every story now A wave of attacks by Israeli Arabs and Palestinians in Israel in the past three weeks has left 11 Israelis and two Ukrainians dead. It has been one of the bloodiest periods of its kind for years, putting the country on edge.
You know how much I hate Torys... but got to say the Tory defence team Ben Wallace and now James Heappey talk a lot of sense. Heappey was very straight talking about the case of MP Khan's sexual assault case.
There was a time when students' poltical activities were mostly restricted to rag week. Now we have well heeled middle class zealots preventing petrol reaching garage forecourts and stopping people entering their offices. And the police stand around like ****ing dummies ready to arrest any member of the public that upsets these narcissistic ****ers. Protest is coming to mean urban terror and Starmer's Labour refuses to vote to increase police powers to stop it. Lat the public be reminded before the next GE.
Surely to they've both got to go. Total loss of credibility. I've heard Johnson stand at the dispatch box and deny all knowledge of any illegal gatherings. By the way, can French politics get a mention too? Macron vs Le Pen in the final round. If Le Pen gets in could make our position, as Brits living in France, interesting.
Yes, they should both go. Johnson won't resign of course, but Sunak might, which would make it very difficult for Johnson to bluff it out. Have to hope that Macron beats Le Pen.
Who knows what Le Pen stands for? She's changed her party's position so much, it's like nailing jelly to the wall.
Sunak knows that the recent leaks about his family's tax arrangements came from next door. If he was thinking about going anyway, this might push him over the edge. All he would have to do then to stitch up Johnson would be to say that he couldn't possibly stay on after having been shown to have broken the law and that he was doing the honourable thing by resigning.
Probably largely true. Removal lies in the hands of the Tories. Can't see them moving at present. Besides, Boris may appeal his fine once he has details of the incident for which he's being fined.
