So what?

You were trying to argue that abolishing tax ends wars, I was simply pointing out that's not true.

Your post about Monaco being tax free did make me laugh though. I think it's around 20% on everything. :emoticon-0102-bigsm
If EVERYONE didn't pay tax then the elites couldn't fund wars.

Like I said, it'll never happen but I do try to do my bit.

Monaco spends a lot of money on police and CCTV.
How did you work out that you spend £10k to fund the NHS? That's twice the average person. The NHS deals with a lot more than what you get with health insurance. I'd love to see them send out an ambulance if you have an accident.

Apologies, Pete re NHS figures... you are correct :emoticon-0139-bow:

I can get a private ambulance in my policy. I also get cashback if I use the NHS for any ops that I need.

Tax doesn't need to be taxing

He seems to be thinking of income tax
Sensible people realise that Monaco has VAT of 19.6%, company tax of 33.3%, inheritance tax (not on direct line), employer's social insurance averages 35%, employee's social insurance averages 13%.

Your healthcare insurance won’t usually cover private treatment for:

organ transplants
pre-existing medical conditions
normal pregnancy and childbirth costs
cosmetic surgery to improve your appearance
injuries relating to dangerous sports or arising from war or war-like hostilities
chronic illnesses such as HIV/AIDs-related illnesses, diabetes, epilepsy, hypertension (high blood pressure) and related illnesses.
You might be able to choose a policy that covers mental health, depression and sports injuries, but these aren’t always covered.

I wasnt the one who raised the point. If you dont like the answer dont ask the question.
I didn't ask a question, Pete.

And I never said that I didn't like your "answer".

Thanks for the interaction though, glad I managed to distract you from your usual hoddy of posting tweets about pakis or lauding the worst Conservative Govt ever.

They'd also be ****ed without access to the NHS equipment.

The BBC propaganda machine that lied about WMDs in Iraq, lied about chemical attacks in Syria, lied about Bin Laden living in a cave in Afghanistan, lied about 911 and has been caught lying for the last 2 years about Covid and vaccines.

Is trying to convince us that Russian Today is fake news .

Even though Russia Today is blocked to Westerners because we can't be trusted to watch it in case we get brainwashed.
