Pete, always on the Govt's side <applause>

I've got no issue with tax efficiency, what I do have an issue with is a grossly corrupt Government, masquerading under the Conservative banner, saying one thing and doing another.

These people, and their media puppets, are amongst the most evil, inhumane and incompetent shower of scum the Western political system has ever produced.

Time to oust the elites and where better to launch this plot than on an award-winning forum?

Autistic rape victim, 12, killed herself after police discouraged her from pressing charges and made her feel ‘like she was an inconvenience,’ claims devastated family

crazed lefties say it's not the police's fault and they want to blame the government for the law
despite the law being clear that having sex with somebody under 16 is breaking the law

My radical approach is don't tax people.

Our taxes fund everything that is wrong with the country.

No tax means no career politicians, no bloated and inefficient NHS, no wars, no loony lefty grievance groups...

I'm being serious.

No wars?
So any countries can attack us and we have no defences?

Yea, if no one is paying tax then we stop needlessly killing each other.

Obviously, it'll never happen but my own take on tax is it is legalized theft and funds everything that is wrong with the world.

Seems like you will make it open season for criminals and foreign powers
motorways and roads will just deteriorate
only private schools, only private medicine
your ideas are not Sensible

In the late 70's early 80's, a nurse at Stoke Mandeville told me that she would not even be on site, never mind on shift if Savile was liable to be around, as he was a gropey pervert, and commented on his activities in the morgue. She had reported several issues to her superiors, and said that her colleagues had done the same, and were all ignored, with no actions following up. It was accepted that they were not expected to be on site when he was though, which tells a story in itself.

Now, if a young scrote like me, miles away from things was aware, surely those in the BBC, as well as all the other institutions he infested knew something too, or at least had suspicions.

Watching the subsequent outrage later, the BBC in particular seemed to want to make it look like he was so cunning, he did it without any of them suspecting a thing. I can't believe they didn't know, or that he was the only one involved.

There's a documentary on Netflix where some of his victims talk of how it has affected them through their life, and it's heartbreaking.

Given many African Countries can't collect taxes from people that have **** all, and those same Countries are in a perpetual state of war, I think I can see a teeny flaw in your ideology.

Why are "tax havens" not constantly invaded by criminals and foreign powers (let's talk about highly taxed London about criminals and foreign powers)
In Monaco, the roads are so bad that they hold a Grand Prix every years.
No issue paying for education or medicine.

My wife and I pay £10k a year in tax to fund the NHS, yet I've got private health care for my entire family that costs £1k a year....

The whole tax system is wrong. We've never been so highly taxed in decades yet we have a national debt of over £2trn... 110% of GDP and that's before you factor in the UKs liabilities going forward...

That's complete nonsense.

War's are fought, 99 times out of 100, due to power struggles.

Bongobongo land isn't at war with Timbuktu because the Bongobongo Govt went "President Nzowo can't collect taxes, lets invade them" <rofl>

So what?

You were trying to argue that abolishing tax ends wars, I was simply pointing out that's not true.

Your post about Monaco being tax free did make me laugh though. I think it's around 20% on everything. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Monaco spends a lot of money on police and CCTV.
How did you work out that you spend £10k to fund the NHS? That's twice the average person. The NHS deals with a lot more than what you get with health insurance. I'd love to see them send out an ambulance if you have an accident.
