Spense is on loan at Forest, they didn't buy him ffs. They are paying him less than we are paying Hendrick ! Some people on here need to wake up, Forest did most of their buys pre season and when Hughton was in charge, since Cooper took over when they were rock bottom after 7 or 8 games they have gone mental, winning more points than anyone else in the division bar Fulham. I think they brought in 2 or 3 in January and outbid us for Cook. Its not down to how much they've spent under Cooper why they are playing so well it's down to the fact their manager is quality who knows how to get the best out of the players he has and is tactically astute. Their best 2 players are Johnson who is one of their own and didn't cost a penny and Spense who is a loanee. I'm not asking us to spend millions but have we used the loan market as well as we could've ? Of course we haven't.

Cook, Panzo, Laryea, Davis and Surridge all signed in the January 22 transfer window! Joint valuation of 15.8 million.
You can bet your bottom dollar that Keinan Davis didn’t come cheap.

He's on ****ing loan ffs ! Check your facts, do you actually know how much they spent or not. I can let you know if you want ?

Forests outgoings for the entire season, hardly a shedload of money, especially as they sold a few and got 3 high earners off the books ! Huddersfield haven't spent a single penny in the transfer market this season, and much as I despise the Bournmouth manager they have spent under 12 million on transfers while they sold Danjuma for 25 million and another player for 2. So their actually going back to the Prem with a stronger squad than they came down with and have made a 15 mill profit !

I was referring to his wages actually. Nice of you to get so abusive though Mr Knowall.
I don't think what I said was abusive to you, I post like that to everyone with no intent. There's too many on here defending Warburton saying other teams have spent so much more than us , when it simply isn't true. Luton and Huddersfield haven't spent a pittance, believe it or not Peterborough spent over 5 million in January. Saying we've been punching above our weight just doesn't wash with me, the aforementioned teams have been and continue to do so. Some people need to open their eyes and realise that good coaching, astute tactics and proper man management can schieve just as much as spending millions sometimes. Fulham are in a league of their own and I don't expect us to compete with them, Bournemouth sold a player for 25 mill and have laud out a good proportion of that. But other teams have moved shrewdly in the loan market and picked up some good buys, I don't think we did either well enough this season, once we started on this slide the manager has been unable to arrest the slump.

Less than Hendricks I guarantee it Mr Knownothing

Do you know for a fact the wage deals of the two players? No. So you cannot guarantee diddly!

We did extremely with our loans under Warburton last season but nowhere near as well this time round. Maybe we didnt get the ones he wanted for one reason or another. The fact remains that we are paupers in this division and in my book massively overachieved in the first half of the season. It was a near certainty that we wouldnt keep that level of performance up although i will concede that most of our performances since the transfer window shut have been poor. Whichever way you look at it any incoming manager will also be working with a budget that is bottom six standard rather than top six.

Really don't need to spell it out, do I? I know you, that you dont mean thevway it reads...but just consider how it looks.

You spell out you don't want to sign AFCON players or those from the Caribbean part of the qualification process..

You single out a specific group of players...Afro/ Caribbean...that you would not sign. It is not a good thing.

( which is silly any how...no Dieng, Chair, Gray or Kakay...wouldn't have signed Eze as he can play for Nigeria... AND definitely wouldnt sign ADEL TAARABT).

I would not want to support a team that shows that level of discrimination.

Jesus Christ Beth, you know me better than that! We're friends in real life.

A bit lame I know, but come on you R'ss. I was with you at the victory v Blackpool and the defeat v Cardiff. I'm not your enemy Beth.

I know that Hendrick's base salary is 40k a week and Davis' is 23k. If you think that they are paying more to Davis a week than we are to Hendrick then you should be sat next to Warburton in the dugout !
