Lolz Mo deserves to be the highest earner at lfc. But if he wants 500k a week he can **** off to utd and play conference league football. But I dont think hell be going in with a pic of ratface signing his new deal no
Fernandes started off well for Man U and blew hot and cold thereafter. No doubt he has it in him but they're still not ticking and so he alone is obviously not the solution. Their general transfer policy baffles me, tbh. Buying players at the arse end of their careers (Zlatan, Cavani, Ronnie etc) for a load of dosh is no way to build a team. You get a couple of years out of them if you're lucky and then you're right back to square one.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says he is "happy" with Mohammed Salah's contract talks which are being discussed between the "decisive parties". Salah, whose contract expires in June 2023, is close to agreeing a new deal with the club to keep him until the end of his career
So if Salah signs... That still leaves Mane and Firm. Wouldn't be surprised to see either of them leave tbh.
They are playing together now, they can still play together in the future. However they will not like to go too far behind Salah in wages terms.
Firmino doesn't strike me as being overly bothered demanding a high wages. Plus the Klopp doesn't seem to view him in the same way as Mane and Salah these days. Jota and Diaz seem to have move ahead of him. Basically what I'm saying is that I can see Firmino being moved on if contract negotiations do become difficult
Imo he got his big deal and age precludes him from trying it on. Mane is hitting his big deal and if anything under sold himself last time out. All these guys get there 2 or 3 chances to do the big deal
If salah signs our forward line is Diaz, jota, salah of they kick up a fuss then we find more. These guys all want to achieve and win things and signed up to do so. Not all want a new deal within a year. In due course they get their shot at new deal
I can’t see firmino going. I think klopp loves the guy and still has a few years left. Never gonna score 20 goals but he can chip in with 10 contribute in other ways. Maybe even drop into midfield and play left midfield role?
Not 400k level thsts for sure. He's got his acon medal and he's got his world cup finals but there's zip to suggest he's worth 200k a week to lfc over the past 2 years if aalah is on that. So by that I could see him say alisson, vvd, thiago etc etc I want 200k and maybe get it but he'd be laughed don't of the office asking for 300k to 350k. Nobody will step in and pay him that imo.
I think he need a long spell in recovery and being fit to get back to the level. Can't see him as a cm at all as he can't tackle.
Not a head-on tackler certainly, but he wins the ball back high up frequently by tackling back. Anyway, it's his link-up play that has been most valuable, and although he's gone off the boil a bit, we certainly miss him when he's out because no-one else does it. His first thought is to try and find a pass, whereas with the others that's a last resort.
Imo he needs stamina building and only a very good preseason and a long run of fitness will bring it. I agree it's an element we miss. Along with manes pace Diaz and jota bring new things to the side. Right now we are very lucky and I hope get the big rewards for bothering to buy in January
Contracts end dates for the next 3 summer windows 2022 Milner Origi Adrian Karius Woodburn 2023 Salah Mane Firmino Keita Ox Phillips Ojo R Williams 2024 Thiago Gomez Matip Minamino
I think personally, let him play another year. he's not getting any slower but he is getting more terrifying.
