We were never safe and nothings changed really.. Overall we're in a far better position than I though we would be only a couple of months ago.

The next 3 games are all at home and I think Howe will get a reaction.

We've seen Howe get a reaction with his nicey nice approach, but he really needs to roast a few of them after that. They just gave up today.

Shelvey - we let him dictate play yet he can’t
    Schar - can’t play in a back 4
Burn - you can see why he was 3rd/4th voice
Targett - difficult to assess him on today as he has a ****ehawk in front of him

The worst part is that I'm being serious... Shelvey isn't going to lose his place this season or next.

I thought Howe was going to put him up front to show Wood how to head the ball towards goal.

Howe definitely picked him and he definitely didn't pick Bruno.

I'm interested to see who starts on Friday, but I'd like to see Bruno max and Almiron start.

I don't want to see shelvey start for newcastle ever again and I thought Fraser gave up today.

    And Murphy? My god

That was an absolute shambles today. The worst part is the likely return of Lascelles.

We cannot get Trippier or Wilson back fast enough.
Drastic changes for me. Shelvey, Wood out. Maybe we need 3 CBs to stop the defeats, Joelinton up front with ASM off him, Willlock, Longstaff and Bruno in midfield. Fraser dropped.

No the gap lies in your misunderstanding as usual

    There's a difference between saying
    1. There's not much someone can do
    2. There's nothing that can be criticised

    You're welcome.

It needs a complete ****ing rethink. **** players can’t just play like a Liverpool or Man C do, it’s impossible to just copy. A lot of today was absolutely rancid. Piss poor faffing around with square balls, ASM just a one trick pony, Fraser absent, Wood offering nothing. It needs a rapid rethink to surprise a few teams because at the moment it’s gone really stale and we’re too easy to play against.

Need to think about more of a 4231 or 532, just to offer some surprise.

As far as I'm concerned, if someone offered us £35m for that gymnast with the bandages I'd snap their hands off now. Used to love the bloke, now he's a ****ing liability, all about him, plays for himself, not the team, and rolls on the floor for most the game. Had enough of him. No intelligence whatsoever. Doesn't stand a cat in hells chance of making the world cup as he's thick as peas pudding.

We've just got to forget today.. I thought we looked a bit Leggy actually. Perhaps they went too far with the high altitude training last week? . Add that to being a **** team in comparison to spurs and you've got a recipe for disaster

The rethinking comes this summer..... They need to buy well and it's got to be quality.
