Can’t disagree with that, however I know the government are lying corrupt bastards and I suspect given the chance Labour could easily take on that mantle, I just think they’d never reach the levels the current lot have. So when both sides are wrong it has to be somewhere in the middle. If that’s not the answer I think @Staines R's has the only real answer in a revolution burn the lot of them down!!
I like a bit of anarchy. The two-party status quo isn’t evolution. It’s the same old. A bit of revolution might be in order.
Yep revolution seems to be the only real way of making change because of dickheads like me, Labour aren’t going to make the changes and I don’t doubt there’s a bit of corruption here and there… but my only chance of seeing the current bunch of twats ousted is to vote what I see to be the much lesser of two evils.
Trans issues involve gender not sexuality. You're wrong according to The Times today. The government issue is, as I said, the law of unintended consequences. Doctors, therapists and even parents could be deterred from exploring a child's feelings in case they are accused of trying to change the child's identity.
Vote 'least worst' and you'll get the 'same old', Will. You can't really put a Rizla paper between Red and Blue. How often have we seen a Red opposition moan about the policies of a Blue government, then say they haven't got the wriggle room to reverse them once in power? Each party benefits from the other taking hits whilst in power, not only because it improves their own chances at the ballot box, but also because the ****ty tax structures or whatever are already in place and they don't have to take the blame for it.
Driving on fumes this morning only to learn that the ER protests at the refineries overnight prevented unleaded fuel getting to the pumps. All the government has to do is enforce the law allowing peaceful protest, but not the prevention of the target of that protest from being able to go about its business, and let the police forcibly move protesters out of the way. Somebody is going to flip soon and there will be deaths, which is what I think these idiots want. They're looking for martyrs. These knobheads are actually more out of touch with the current mood of the nation than Boris 'Johnson-Features' Johnson.
Apparently they're all wearing adult nappies, perhaps expecting a long protest. They should just be left there until they're up to their necks in it, then force them to walk home...
I know it seems the done thing to slag off the NHS at the moment (ahhhhh I miss paying my bills through the weekly claps), however when you can feel chest pain, make a phone call, have a handsome looking chap turn up at your door, recognise you’re having an MI, then drive you to a HAC, finally having you on the operating table and having the blockage sorted…..all with 40 mins. Surely that ain’t that bad, eh ? At least my last pt thought it was pretty good
I think I heard or read somewhere that average waiting times for an ambulance nationwide is now 70 minutes. I presume creeping past the hour mark for a wait makes a massive difference in terms of survival of things like heart attack, stroke etc?
Totally right mate……I think I’ve said before the reasons, in my opinion, that Ambulance waits are this long.
And with sexuality you could get accused of trying to change their sexuality, which is also a part of someone’s identity so a bit of a double whammy there, however getting the sexuality part in the bill is fine? Something really doesn’t add up here.
Quite rightly there are calls for War Crime investigations to be started over civilians killed by Russians in Ukraine…..but I still haven’t heard anything concerning war crimes committed by Ukrainian militia. Isn’t that kinda…..hypocritical?
