Most of the talented players coming through the Youth equivalent in the US are released academy lads from the UK, one of the top College centre halves was released by Chesterfield at 18. The most talented American’s aren’t there long anymore, Reyna, Aaronson 2 examples that are now in Dortmund and Salzburg and have been since a young age.

What's the betting the English press accuse an England player of shagging a camel?

If they do then the mollicoddled English snowflake player involved would definitely get the hump.

That's a tough draw...Got a feel of Mexico 86, and South Africa 2010 about it.

So no group of death, only embarrassment awaits one of the big teams!

    Good draw that.

Only thing I see getting in the way is the media…again.

Agreed. If based on teams rankings it’s the toughest group

It's going to be a really odd season in the EPL, players who have played in the world cup coming back to league football, it will be interesting to see what happens. You might see some strange results, as players for varying reasons will come back and have fluctuations in performance.

I know the World Cup is being held in Qatar and it was changed to the winter, because of it hadn't have been changed I'm 100% sure that would have been very serious medical events and in my opinion deaths certainly amongst supporters and probably players too.

When I worked there I was drinking 15 lts of water a day and it still wasn't enough, by the time heat exhaustion sets in its already to late. 50+ c is no joke. It will be bad enough in the winter.

This is worth a watch as these are elite athletes. The workers are all at risk, we looked after the workers we had and they deserve better. The world had known about the treatment of these workers for long enough. Without them there would be no stadiums or infrastructure so basically no world cup. Will anyone thank them? ... NO THEY WON'T. Sorry for the rant but it really pisses me off.
