I didn't bother reading that because I know it's a load of bullshìt with a smattering of casual racism. Some people are easily amused, especially brain dead Scottish Nationalists.
More factual inaccuracy: “P&O getting rid of their British workforce”.
Facts: they have replaced 786 crew (39 Jocks) with agency workers but the other 2,200 British staff were unaffected.
Anybody living in the real world is perfectly able to understand that P&O Ferries are losing money every year by tens of millions and their biggest cost base is their wage bill. Possible solutions: reduce wage bill or raise service charges in a competitive environment.
Obviously crazed Lefties want them to charge more for using the ferries so that people use cheaper rivals and the company goes bust and everyone loses their job. Or, of course, the company can just be nationalised, run incompetently by a bunch of faceless civil servants and everyone can pick up the bill whether they use ferries or not. Do the same with the railways...
Casual racism ?I didn't bother reading that because I know it's a load of bullshìt with a smattering of casual racism.
You are the stupidest person in here. You make Mindy look like Hawkins. You have continually posted that P&O didn't illegally sack their workers whilst posting that they did in fact illegally sack their workers.
You're a ****ing moron and that's OK, that's fine, it's allowed.
Unfortunately you're also a really, horribly so, ****ing tedious cùnt, an absolutely, incredibly boring individual and that is not at all OK in this award winning forum. You and ***** Pete have dragged us into the gutter.

Sorry Porridge wog the law doesn't apply to you
- Disability
- Race
- Religion or belief
- Sexual Orientation
- Transgender Identity.

Dumbass you certainly are.
Crazed Lefties who know nothing about employment law grumbling because they want to live in a world where everything is paid for from the Magic Money Forest. Just keep Bolshevik Boris and Socialist Sunak on the job. They make Marxist John McDonnell look like he knew what he was talking about.
Grant Shapps intends to change the law so that all ferry operators will have to pay British minimum wage to crew to operate from British ports, so expect ferry crossings to become much more expensive or a number of operators to simply stop services to Britain. P&O Ferries were looking to nearly half their crew wage bill but a large part of their losses were down to under utilisation.
You can **** off anaw you boring mugI have my ticket from August '81. 62 quid one way. I just paid 68. That's an 11%!increase in 41 years. Maybe we should be paying more.
Are you on the wind up? Sincere question.
He perused the pages and drafts up replies from days ago .
Then sits down at his home office and fires off his mind numbing dissertations long after the prople he's replying to have logged off.

Like finger your mother without spit in your case you dullard simpleton?Replies to posts that were made yesterday... but why let facts get in the way?
Get off your sister, go and get your spare toes cut off and put in the empty space between your ears.
Some of us do not spend all day on here as we have better things to do than continually point out the stupidity of half of the posters.

If some people round here actually bothered with facts before they posted, they would not come across as totally brain dead losers. That Scottish Nationalist a prime example.
Under British law, P&O Ferries were required to give the unions 45 days consultation before laying off the workers. They broke that law.
Under Jersey law, where the workers’ contracts resided, they broke no law in ending those contracts.
Nearly thirty years ago, I worked for a company that did consult with the employees (nothing more than a gesture to comply with the law) and then tore up everyone’s contracts and offered them their jobs back on less advantageous terms. When this was tested at an industrial tribunal, the employees lost the case.
