So what are these financial losses then, not really understanding what that tells me in a figure alone. Is it because of money spent on the new ground? I can't imagine it's because gate receipts or tv revenue is down, or are we just talking player transfers?

I have no idea mate I think they're going down like the titanic if they do actually get relegated though.

Big Al Moshiri has gone thru so so much more money than them . I think so far it is somewhere between £400-£500m <yikes>

I honestly don't know what the hell they've bought with that... I mean Gordon is their best player and he was a youth player I think.

Just wondering where the losses are. You can't really say it's a loss if it's investment in a new ground, but I suspect for you to be all over it, it's not.

they spend nearly 90% of their revenue on wages plus have spunked millions away in transfers . Some has gone on the new stadium and their Finch Farm training facility but they are haemorrhaging money hence them being warned by the PL they were in serious danger of being slapped with ffp sanctions .

I'd probably take the stadium costs out of those financial losses, because that surely would have been built into any budget. But wages and transfers, if so, then yeah I'd want to know about that and why.

Is there not some financial nerd on here that knows? I suspect it doesn't include the ground

they don't count for ffp purposes nut they couldn't spend this summer hence Gray and Townshend being their signings at a combined cost of £1-5m though the slightly strange Siggurdson affair hasn't helped .

Only player I ever laughed at was Maguire for £80M, but there were reasons for that.
