I'm sticking up for Scott here, and the other mods to be precise. I don't post here any more due to the constant bickering amongst people. I want a forum where I can discuss football and the love for my club with fellow fans, not fighting and bickering. This place has become a fight club, not a forum.
Maybe it was me, I thought I reopened it but could well be wrong. A few times I went to but decided against it. My bad, and I apologise for saying it wasn't me if it was. Personally though, I do wish all these threads were closed and "gone away".
"I know what I want for xmas!!! What went wrong part 5" I'm on it,Norway, fear not,it will be available soon. Script well advanced;thinking of adding a musical thread to augment the words, which will be in Wolloff,so the mods won't have a clue what I'm on about. Smart,or what?
Jackash hit the nail on the head. Aside from whether any insults are below the belt or not, people will stop posting here if the main topics are who said what to who. And for those moaning about Scott, I know for a fact that Scott has got a sense of humour. You can't have facial hair like that and not have a sense of humour
Scott - No problem. I see both sides of the story here. Alot of people (Myself included) are fed up of reading a perfectly good thread and then coming across bickering. It's not even banter, it's full on bickering, and it's boring. While I realise this is a public forum and you can say what you want, wouldn't it be best to keep it in one sub forum? While on the subject of bickering and picking on people, blah blah, what's ahppening now is people are turning on Scott and Jager and I'm sorry, but it isn't fair. They are trying to make this a forum to be enjoyed by football fans, and it isn't happening. God, kids look at this site, what sort of impression are we giving them? That it's okay to be racist over the net?
Well, the answer is simple! People kept opening new threads labelled what went wrong, it escalated into another heated argument and blocked up the forum. Is football talked about in here anymore? This thread had to be made because it's just taking the biscuit now. If someone has issues, take it to them. Not to everybody else on the bloody forum!
These two don't seem to know what day it is,you couldn't make it up. It's like a Laurel and Hardy movie. See how much fun you can have without trying too hard.
Norway,if a movie were to be made of "What went went wrong 5",who would you want to play the part of profit?
This is a sad reflection on what`s been happening here lately. It is, after all, a football forum. If people want to "debate" other issues, then they should go elsewhere. We`ll soon have enough mods to start a team the way things are going. I was under the impression that "mods" were there for moderation, obviously not. A moderator is a person given special powers to enforce the rules on an Internet forum, newsgroup or blog. A moderator may remove unsuitable contributions from the website, forum or IRC channel they represent in accordance with their moderation system. If you are going to have more than, say two mods, there is always the chance (as in this series of threads), of closing it, then opening it, then closing it, ad infinitum. This to me, is where the "super" moderator steps in and decides one way or the other whether that particular thread is continuing to be football related & polite, if not close it down. The "ordinary" mods cannot then re-open it. Different people have different views on what is Racist, or not. Did`nt there used to be a "fight room" or similar here a while ago, if you want to fight and spout drivel .............go there. I don`t mean to offend anyone & if I have I apologise.
Leon,I take your point. I could have used Campbell, but JG came to mind first. Had I chosen Campbell,he would have complained about his extended family having suffered at the hands of the Labour Party in a compulsory purchase,or some other nonsense. Peace brother, apologies for earlier spat,by the way.
"It is,after all, a football forum". That didn't stop the rugby world cup being done to death. Whilst the forum does come under the heading of Swansea City F.C., I would disagree that it is exclusively football based,as several threads lead in different directions, and long may that continue. If someone mentions cricket will that be dismissed as a taboo subject?
