Agreed. Although he was very good against Lincoln at the weekend. One swallow doesn’t make a good blowjob though…
Evans may not have had the best of seasons. He isn’t my favourite player and I think we can do better than him, but it’s the timing of the article, with 7 games to go and potentially play off games to come. We all need to be pulling as one and the time for articles like this and inquests into the season are at the end of the season when we know what outcome we have. Poor show from Roker Report in my view.
Agreed but you have to look at form too. Neil was woefully out of form. Onien hardly played. Doesn’t mean they’d currently be the best. Our defence has improved last few games. Quite significantly. Not sure if it’s the defenders or the cdm which has caused that. Evans offers little going forward but he played an absolutely superb eye of a needle pass to get us going forward at Lincoln. So he obviously can do it. Just seems to opt for the simple pass. or, in less words, I have no ****ing idea what’s best!!!!
I know what you're saying mate. I think Neils form was down to fatigue. This is his first full season in the first team and you could see before he was dropped that he was knackered along with Doyle aswell. Im hoping we see the best of Neil now that his batteries have recharged. Onien should be like a coiled spring aswell now after being out for so long.
Roker Report have gone down and down in most genuine SAFC supporters eyes , they have become very outspoken and critical in all recent articles compared to previous - suggesting an agenda . If this is not the case are they trying to gain some notoriety by becoming outspoken , I am not impressed with their continually trying to deride everything and everyone at SAFC so much so I think they may be NUFC infiltrators .
While I don’t disagree with what your saying, to me this is a genuine opinion article. I agree with the article. Corry Evans shouldn’t be our captain and is shoehorned into the side because of it…
