It didn't actually stop you getting on WF as you could ignore the warning. But like you, I chose not to ignore it until I knew what was going on.
Has there problems with this site my antivirus software wouldt let me on yesterday said there where problems with trogens and virus
These were the messages you would have got when attempting to get on Not 606. There was in fact no risk entering the site. But someone had posted links to a dodgy site and the association was the cause of the message.
It's not on mine. If you click on the Safe Browsing Diagnostic Page, what does it say it was the last date suspicious content was found on this page?
I suspect your Google browser needed refreshing to give you the up to date position. I'm not a techie on browsers etc but it's the only logical explanation I can think of. For future reference, look back at the two attachments I posted a few posts back. Look at the red picture then click next to see the next image which is a copy of the status.
The spammers, like the one i saw on this forum will be computer controlled. Because the sight gets a lot of hits it will be targeted. All they need is for one idiot to click on one of the links and they have their victim. There's another forum i go on which gets them the whole time. I am no computer whizz kid but i think when you sign up and have to type out the weird wavy word (you know what i mean?!) that is designed to stop them, or at least slow them down, because the computer can't look at it and type it in. I hope you know what i mean!
