So yesterday Firefox's "reported attack page" notice came up when I went to this site. When I looked at the details it said something about some instances of people having software downloaded without consent but also said that no malware was being hosted on this site.

I got a bit scared and didn't over-ride the warning and enter this site.

Today no warning.

Anyone else had any issues like this? Can the relevant people be notified?

It's all been sorted lennypops it was associated sites that were affected not this one. <ok>

Ah - good stuff, Spurf. Did it cause many problems? Did many other people notice or get that warning?

God people who do malware attacks or write viruses are a plague upon humanity...

I got the warning and stayed away. When I got back on today, was shocked how many people had posted yesterday afternoon/last night. Would never ignore such a warning!

I use Apple Macs, anyway.

Don't want to sound smug, but there you have it.

I got the warning and stayed away, I use Windows and MS Office and that knocks spots off Apple Macs. For Home computing, spreadsheets, word documents I find Apple Macs inferior.

The massive success in the PC market of Microsoft over Apple Mac is an indicator of which is the superior product. I've used both systems extensively, Apple Macs at various jobs for example, and when it comes to spending my own money its MS and Windows everytime.

Apples are always hacked first in hacking competitions - don't be too smug.

not606 was blocked at work today too. The reason given was "Tasteless content" - I laughed then frowned. What to do all day? So I contacted the internet police for the first time ever. Hopefully they'll sort it.

Probably to do with some of the crazy stuff on GC and After Hours.

My MacBook Pro has never been hacked. My aging Apple desktop isn't linked to the internet, so neither has that.

The banner at the top did say this it was safe to post, I took that as not to start clicking on links, and cut n pasting links and pics etc. Did that and it was as normal.

...didn't miss any of you either! :D

That's sort of what the internet police said. I now need my directors permission to access not606 - no way am I asking him. It could have been so good here :(

I normally bring my own separate laptop as well for not606 etc that uses a phone dongle <ok>

I guess someone in the IT police changed their mind, as the site is now unblocked. Yay!
