A Left wing party that has kicked out anyone who is even remotely Left wing and has steadily moved further to the right ?
I have my principles and was hoodwinked once already by Blair and New Labour…..it won’t happen again
Genuine question M, you spend a lot of time and energy slagging off both the Tories and Labour, with some justification. What’s the positive story, the real alternative? If the Paul Embery/ George Galloway blue Labour/ patriotic socialist alternative is what you like, talk it up, they can be voted for can’t they (not sure about Embery). Attack, attack, attack doesn’t change minds, or even make people pause to think after a bit, they just go ‘oh, it’s him, usual stuff then’. Unless it’s the scrap you enjoy.

I’ve put out info, tweets and pointed to the books of people like Paul Embery on numerous occasions. Now how many on here do you think have taken the time to actually read his book, mull over his thoughts or give his views credence ?
I’m thinking none.
Of course GG is a different kettle of fish and is portrayed as a either a mad man or a dangerous individual….so hardly worth me bothering to point people in his direction as peoples minds are made up when it comes to any of his views, whatever they are.

So what should I do G….other than scrap

Embery seems a bit racist to me.

Perhaps not many, but I have (not read Embery’s book but a lot of his commentary on unHerd). I visit the WPB website frequently, to see if any detail has been added to the slogans. Regardless of what happens on this thread, these guys have got to get better at selling their positive vision (I know that’s not your job) because most people, I think, still believe it’s a choice between Tories and Labour, and as long as they believe that it’s true - which is why you are shouting at a wall, it seems to me.

Of course I’m shouting at a wall….but I’m unwilling to make that choice between the established parties when I disagree absolutely with the direction of both.

I do though find it interesting that you question my ways of debate, which is your perfect right of course, while saying nothing when others resort to petty backbiting, sarcastic name calling or general abuse……..in fact you’ve joined in at times
Of course this something I’ve definitely been guilty of at times, and I’d be a hypocrite to suggest otherwise

Yeah. I have different expectations of different people. It’s unfair I know.

He's talks a lot about 'traditional' working class communities, doesn't he? It seems to me he's talking about white working class. He's anti-immigrant if you ask me, no better than Farage,

He specifically states in his book, that you obviously haven’t read, that he considers the traditional working class to include immigrants from abroad who came over in the 50’s and 60’s and would apply to people of all colours and religions. I’m guessing he means people like my father in law from the Caribbean and his father in law from India.

Anything else mate ?

No, I haven't read his book, but I've seen quotes from it. I haven't read Farage's book either, but I've seen his poster and I know he's a racist. Is it just post 60s immigrants that he doesn't like then?

If it walks like a duck....

If it walks like a duck....

So you haven’t read or seen quotes of the parts I’ve mentioned…..hmm that kinda fits your narrative Strolls.
And deflects away from your obvious subconscious racism, as we’ve previously discussed…….as you say if it walks (or quacks) like a duck.

So you're saying that calling out racists makes me subconsciously racist?

A bit like someone who claims to be of the left being actually far right? You protest too much, mate.

Nah I’m just saying the fact you harp on about giving visas to white European refugees ahead of black African refugees is not a good look mate.
Have a good day
