Cue Sid makes a rapid return: "I was only joking lads".

It's a pity, as he can't now really, can he. They've won tonight, but if he returns now it will just make him look silly.

I like Sid, he goes back to old BBC606 days and was always good for banter. But his farewell message kind of puts him in a strange place now in that he can't interact here without backtracking.

Aye, he doesn't want to make himself look like Smug <laugh> One thing Sid does highlight though is the massive gulf between the two clubs now...maybe we've underestimated how 'hurt' they are? <laugh>

I can't decide who's tears taste the sweetest, Ralph's or The Mackems? I mean Ralph's were pretty sweet but the Mackems tears are in full flow listening to my mates who are Mackems. The terrible owners rhetoric has gone into overdrive - I think us winning loads of games has left them a bit stuck. It must be **** though watching us go 9 unbeaten in the league amassing 21 points. They were in party mode prior to the Man U game and even beyond. I had mates telling me we were already gone and the Saudis were gonna ditch us. Now they don't want to talk about anything except how our owners are worse than Abramovich <laugh>

At least we know who our owners are...

Whatever happened to all those jokey mackems who used to frequent this place? I guess they are all now drowning in a sea of salty tears. In terms of our recent results, and theirs, it really has gone tits up for them.

Just popped over to see their board and they're currently jumping around town hoping Saudi Arabia will be sanctioned.

Surely they should be more concerned with the people in Ukraine and Yemen than worrying about a football team over the road.

It's dishonest of them in most cases..

If they were vocal before our takeover it wouldn't be so obvious.

They are thick and naive in the extreme anyway. Our government are in very deep with the Saudis. Why do they think the PL got forced to allow our deal to go through? That wasn't just Fat Mike threatening to reveal all. Unless there is a sudden dramatic shift in our trade relations, then I don't think the UK will be sanctioning the Saudis any time soon. We exported about 9 billion there last year alone. What do we sell them? Weaponry. And a lot of it. What has this weaponry been used for? Bombing Yemen. So why the **** would the UK government go down that route when we are the ones helping them achieve their military goals. They'd have to sanction themselves <laugh>
