It's also great that you gave him chances which he chose not to take. It's actiually VERY HARD to get banned on not606!

Personally I've just ignored his drivel, but it's also to be remembered that he hasn't always just twittered on, under his previous incarnation, on the old 606, he came out with the vilest and most offensive post I've ever seen on those boards (and that's saying something) which IIRC was personally aimed at Syd.

He just comes on to annoy people and it's best he's gone.
 
You handled this 100% correctly imo - you gave warnings, you then fired a shot across the bow (3 day ban) - and he still acted like a dick so you perma banned him...

You'd think at some point the penny would drop and he would see the error of his ways... or maybe that was the problem..
 
Agree it was the correct decision..... a brave one in such a "young" forum but a bench mark has now been set..... WUM's racists....and people who like the sound of their own keyboard should be discouraged from posting......
 
Bring back big chris! The mans a muppet,but a funny muppet.Every village needs an idiot,and so does every topic board.Someone to take out the tension on after we get beat.
 
If Dazzla FTM could (without breaching any confidentiality) tell us if the "company" is in the NE? Just that I'm curious, <whistle> , maybe arrange a meeting with the big fella, like a few of us wanted to??

* also add something like weight-gain problem, speech impediment or cleft palette and oppressive-restrictive parenting perhaps?

It is in the north east mate.....I had arranged to meet Big Chris in the porterfield before the liverpool game, but to be honest probably wouldn't have wasted my time....it is in the Sunderland area...i would tell you exactly where and who but for the interests of others unfortunately i can't.....

but imagine how frustrating it is for me to know i work in the same building as him....probably see him everday and will never know who he is!! I suspect everyone here now
 
All hail Syd!!! I like many on here could tolerate many of his postings about inside information or 'loyal fans' but the racisim remarks have no place on here or anywhere! You made the right call, this is why you are a super mod ;)
