Not sure if you've read Phil McNumpty's cringeworthy brown-nosing of Abramovich article in which he bends over backwards to wedge a divide between 'footballing matters' and 'moral concerns'.

I struggle to extricate the two. While I fully agree that sport and/or sports personalities should not be used to make political gestures or statements, the question of benefitting directly from someone whose success and support is founded on unethical practices is wholly different.

Although not as clear cut (and ownership tests urgently need updating and clarification to make things so much clearer), is there a world of difference between saying it's OK for Chelsea FC to gain or benefit from Roman Abramovich's blood money because they're "only" gaining in the realm of sport (which is McNumpty's argument), and saying that Siggurdson or Greenwood should be able to continue playing until they receive an actual guilty verdict and sentencing, because Everton and United ,"only" gain in footballing terms by their involvement?

Another medical incident interrupts a game, this time at Boodison Park.

Is it me or are these incidents increasing in frequency and if so, is Covid anything to do with it?

Or are we just more aware and alert to them and therefore better at spotting and dealing with them in the appropriate way?

If ever one needed proof that a draw is fixed:
    FA Cup quarter-final draw:
Crystal Palace v Everton or Boreham Wood

    Middlesbrough v Chelsea

Nottingham Forest or Huddersfield v Liverpool

    Southampton v Manchester City

Two years of sitting at home eating Kettle Chips while watching Netflix might also have something to do with it

Happened at some ground or other nearly every week, red cross just used to move in and sort it.
Now there are so many TV games and club medics get called to front tier problems so now we see it.

I thought the opposite. The fact that they are all away from home makes it a tasty round. City, Chelsea and Liverpool will all be nervous about those games.

Yes losing to them for a 5th time without scoring a goal would have been too much to bear.

Huddersfield going 2nd in the Championship.
1 point ahead of Bournemouth, who have 5 games in hand, although they are well placed versus the rest (apart from Fulham, obvs).
Too tough to get out of; easy to return to.

One thing about Alisher Usmanov's yacht getting seized that not enough people are talking about: who the hell needs two helipads on their yacht, other than a Bond villain?
