Poch didn't start him because he was injured in an international friendly as soon as he arrived
Mason playing him over Ndombele simply proves that claiming four managers have written him off is wrong
    The ubermensch...played him then?

What's scraping the last barrel in the wine cellar is clinging to an easily disproved argument after its been easily disproved

Ndombele, easy to write off because he manages to lack the defensive nous to play as a CM without being carried or the intelligence to be effective AM, and that's before his crap attitude which is the real reason why it can be said that three of the last five Spurs managers have written him off (and, personally, I get the feeling that Nuno was pressured into playing him)

Lo Celso, not so easy considering the 3421 formation we're currently using actually fits into Lo Celso's skillset better than how we were set up under the ubermensch or Nuno. Now, obviously, he'd be behind Son and Kulusevski in the two AM spots (and rightly so, based on current form) and given there's a probability that Bergwijn is off in the summer that does mean that if a door isn't opening at the very least a cat flap is, unlike Ndombele who it's plain that Conte is keen to see the back of - just like Tanganga was when telling him to hurry up getting off the pitch

Ndombele did more for Spurs than Lo Celso.

I almost admire you for still clinging on to hope that Lo Celso will come good even after all this time.

Getting a game here and there doesn’t prove that managers rated him.

I don’t remember calling Romero specifically dross but if I did then I hold my hand up as he’s got better. I still want more from him though and he’s still a long way off being Jan/Toby levels though.

Here's the thing: did he? On a stats-based level you can say that he did, as he got some goals and assists (plus plenty of clips for our social media team to pump out to fill gaps in the schedule), but in minute-to-minute football? I honestly don't think so considering he was usually shagged out by the 70th minute so meant we wasted a substitution, and his complete lack of application when the opponents had the ball was infuriating - and then of course there's him breaking lockdown protocols, which again points to his complete lack of discipline

Ndombele is one of those player who may hit a 7/10 in one game, but either side of it there's three, four or five games where he's 3/10 or worse, which puts him in similar company with Barren Dent or Stephane Dalmat - and coincidentally the three of them all had ****ty attitudes

I agree with everything you’ve said there about Ndombele. But my issue with Lo Celso is that even when he wasn’t injured, he just didn’t seem to offer much at all.

Yeah, seems a bit strange to wait six days for the next game at this stage of the season.

With news that Bentancur could be back for Everton, I think we can expect a Winks-Hojbjerg midfield. Lucas is injured so Kulu might start again as he hasn't played much this season and is playing himself into a rich vein of form. I'd go with:

    Lloris
    Sanchez Dier Romero
    Doherty Winks Hojbjerg Reguilon
    Kulu Son Bergwijn

Personally , if you are dropping/resting Davies, I would prefer to go with Rodon who has experience playing against Championship teams.

To save people a click, subs are Gollini, Royal, Reguilon, Rodon, Sanchez, White, Devine, Bergwijn and Scarlett.

Conte said he'd play Kane even if he had one arm

Having seen the line-up, I think the plan must be to try to win this game.
