Risky. He was a failure in Germany. Done alright in the Austrian league, though.

I'd be pissed off if I was a Leeds supporter. I'm sure they could have brought in somebody better than this dude.

I get why they've gone for him though, he's one of the RB franchise lads inhe, has a certain style and way of playing that personally I think Leeds fans will love, if he doesn't completely nose dive from day one like lol

The good thing is, his style isn't too dissimilar to Bielsa's, so shouldn't be too hard for players to adjust to the few differences, hopefully the first thing he scraps is the man to man marking, which has cost us greatly this season.

You outgrew the squatter bro, this season showed that bigtime.

You can't play the bielsa way and only the bielsa way in the prem and hope to survive. You absolutely have to be flexible in your tactics imho

I agree it won't be chalk and cheese. The players should adapt to it easily.

You might even get to pull a few future stars from his rb links too

That was his downfall, only had one style, wasn't working and we don't have the squad to change for better players in the system.

Those rb teams have been like a conveyor belt of talent in recent years tbh.

Its thier business model innit, buy young and cheap, develop and sell for big profits, repeat.

The highest profile dodgy oligarch purchase in the UK has to be Chelsea

Their owner is so close to what’s going on in Ukraine and is privy to his best mate Putin’s plans of invasion that he’s been given a major role in the ‘peace’ brokering talks.

It’s so ****ing obvious its embarrassing <laugh>

I don't think he has a lot of direct financial involvement with Everton, other than sponsoring/paying for their training ground.

Although his business partner is Moshiri who is Everton's majority shareholder.
