Thought the game was exciting for a 0-0. Neither team just sat back, but all the goals were correctly disallowed, although ours was probably borderline. Just glad Elliott scored his penalty as it must be devastating for the youngster in a team to miss his penalty. New the Asahi would get us the win by keeping Mini off the pitch!

Great for Konate, diaz. Join and win silverware right away. Thiago, Jota, Elliott first trophy with us, gutted Thiago didn’t play and hope injury wasn’t too serious.
Yes not the most important trophy, but it’s a few good factor now and gets the players used to winning stuff. Gives them experience in cup finals, pressure situations etc.

Every penalty was quality to a varying degree then Kepa... it would have been over if there had been two goals there
He’s used to lumping it up to the fast boys, poor lad…
I was genuinely bricking it in case the lad missed it, same for Konate. Always seems to be hard on the young kids who step up (or who are forced to) so glad they took their chance
Totally agree, especially when you consider what a brilliant game Mendy had.. Why not just keep on your best keeper who's confidence will obviously be sky high and had a played blinder no matter what the outcome.
Just said to the Mrs, a keeper should just strike it clean and hard, he decided to place it for some reason.
