I wasn't attacking him at all. I was expecting someone to post it in a wind up way, actually, so I pleased it was much more diplomatic. It's the rest of this lot that are now saying it's not proven from the video, but he's still a racist anyway.

About your Rooney comment <doh>. An extremely stupid comment, Rooney deliberately swore AT the camera up close, JT didn't.

There's no discussion about this, JT say's its cobblers, Chelsea back him and he also has a sworn affidavit from Ashley Cole saying as much. Where's there discussion? If your club are to take it further that's a matter for them. But do be careful as anything you say may be sub-judicious there will be deleted by our moderators SW6 & Ginger.

As I said - just posting it for discussion. JT has admitted using the phrase in question, he's just saying the context was misunderstood. AF is disputing JTs version of events, saying he didn't know what JT was talking about when he asked if 'everything was all right' between them. He says it was only afterwards, when he saw the video footage, that he realised what JT was on about, and that was when he realised what he had been called.

The FA will come to a decision, but it's clearly not as cut and dried as AVB, AC and JT would have everyone believe. There's still a while to go before any lines can be drawn under this.
 
There's a difference in saying "do you think I called you a black ****"? as opposed to "Oi You black ****". Ones a question and the others a racist insult. So its very clear indeed. E.O.S

According to Ferdinand, JT didn't say that to him - simply asked if the two were fine. ferdinand says he didn't know what JT had said until he saw the video footage. So that, if true, means that JT's version of events had been called into question, and it's up to the FA to decide which is true.

The only thing that is beyond doubt is that JT, by admission, said what we know is a racist slur - he was caught on camera and admits using the phrase. The question is all about how he said it, and he was undeniably angry and wound up at the time.

FA - your call.

If he was racist I'll hold my hands up, but that link is a) not a high regarded source and b) if it is true, it still does not fully prove Terry was racist.

It seems to me like people are simply just choosing what they want to hear...

To be fair, we're somewhat doing the same thing. We just feel more rational since it's our captain and some of us are saying to wait for the investigation results before final judgement.

He has admitted that he used the phrase "Oi! Anton You ****ing Black ****", but insists the sentence also contains 'Do You Think I Called' in between Oi Anton...and..You ****ing Black ****. Which is patently a load of bollox, he is also dismissing calling him a ****ing Knobhead as that will magically go away.

SW6.....Please don't be so ridiculous, you realy doubt wether John Terry was having an affair with Wayne Bridge's wife, after all the media attention it recieved yet you still doubt it. Terry lost the England captaincy over it, you realy think Capello would have taken it away from him if it was just vicious roumers, or do you realy think Bridge would have refused to shake his former best mates hand, if it was all just a roumer.
