It’s not just the number of goals we’re conceding that’s annoying me, it’s the repetitive nature of them, like watching the same goal over and over again. Either from a corner or one intercepted pass and the counter attack as we bomb forwards leaving the defence exposed. Still on a positive, those 24 seconds were magical.

He looked to get done by a speculative flick from, I think Fernandez? and then it was all over. It did look like from what I saw that they deserved to win, the small crumb of consolation I have is that Ronaldo didn't score. I don't know what has happened to us defensively. I have never been overly impressed by Cooper but perhaps he organises the defensive better than those currently on the pitch, or am I clutching at straws?
Cooper.. Bamford.. Phillips... Murder ball.. I know which one i would drop.

Just been reading how bielsa changed the tean around after koch went off. The guy is totally off his rocker. How many players did he move around?. The players are lost and it is his fault

The first goal from the corner, no organising would have fixed Llorente’s attempt at defending. As for Firpo, I thought he was improving but today it was back to square one.

He looked like Bambi on ice the way he lost the ball to set the scum move up for their 3rd and made absolutely no attempt to get back

In my current depressed state I have Just been on worldfootball.net and had a go at their score predictor. Being ultra-cautious with our results and somewhat hopeful with the others around us I came up with this with 1 game to go...

I hope we can convert one of the draws I gave us into a win:emoticon-0107-sweat (I gave us a draw away at Watford as backup:grin:)

Roy Keane:

“From Leeds’ point of view, the first sign of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results,” he said.

“They done this earlier in the season at United earlier in the season and conceded five – they’re doing the same.

“When you’re against quality players, they’re doing this man-for-man stuff, it’s madness what they’re doing.”

It's excuse after excuse isn't it. There was nobody who could have improved the squad out there. That's funny cos Villa could find some and Newcastle managed to spend about £100 million on improvements. Bielsa didn't want to sign players. They should have gone behind his back and signed some

Spending millions which we don't have. That said I would have brought on Cresswell into the centre back rather than change so many players around with one substitution. You could tell Firpo had been out for a while but he did get more into the game in the second half.

Says it all really. I would love the team to prove me wrong and finish strongly. I just cannot get my head around bielsas subs. He seems to a one trick pony devoid of seeing what is in front of him.yes he likes players to play in two positions but surely only when necessary. Eddie howe would have been ideal in my opinion. Anyone on this site could set a team up to beat us.

Yeah Newcastle have money pouring out of there asses right now but we do have money to spend. If Bielsa is as fantastic as he's made out to be then he could have gone down a league or gone to one of these leagues that are struggling financially and brought someone in and then coached them to be great players.

All takes time which we have not got

We had a month to sign players. A MONTH, 31 DAYS. We knew the injury crisis was upon us back in November/December time. I've said this a million times before but we should have been looking at players before the window opened and we didn't. Any decent coach could get a decent proffesional up to speed with in a week if they wanted to. Let's stop this BS about it takes time to get up Bielsa's standards and fitness levels. It's another excuse and I'm tired of hearing them.
