People keep talking about safety and how that is our main priority. But can't we not just say we are now safe ? Our next 2 games are at home and those are against Bolton and Everton. Imagine if we won both of them ? That would be us on 41 points with 9 more games to play.
Now we are often labelled 'The Deluded Geordies' but you know what i say to that .. **** YOU! I can hope, dream, wish, call it whatever you want to, but trying isn't going to hurt anybody, is it ?
The higher we finish this season gives us the chance to attract better, quality players in the summer.
The better players we can get in gives us the opportunity to push further next season, then the season after that...
Chelsea and Man city are buying their history because they have rich owners, as a faithful geordie, born and bred i don't want that. I want this club to do it the right way and work hard for the success, which the club and us fans fully deserve!
All i'm trying to say is can't we just be more positive and get a little carried away ? A season that will be unforgettable because of fantastic performances. Beating the Mackems 5 - 1 , Beating Arsenal 1 - 0 away, Beating Villa 6 - 0, Beating West Ham 5 - 0, Drawing with Arsenal 4 - 4 after being 4 - 0 down at half time !
