Goldeneye was a Bond film. Trellick Tower was designed by Erno Goldfinger, another Bond film?
That’s about it. Goldeneye was Fleming’s house in Jamaica where Goldfinger was written. Erno Goldfinger was an architect (this picture is of his Trellick House in Westbourne Park) who was renowned for being a ruthless employer, often firing people if they dared to smile at the wrong time! Fleming heard about Goldfinger and named his character after him, much to Goldfinger’s disdain. There were threats to sue from Goldfinger, but these were roundly seen off from Fleming and the name stayed. There are reports that Fleming threatened to rename the character Goldprick if Goldfinger continued his legal action. I wonder how Shirley Bassey’s version of that would have sounded?

Which Theodore, the last of his kind, was named this week after 10 years of study by scientists?
Yes - the 252 million year old fossil was discovered on a property near Theodore in Central Queensland back in the 90s. Only donated to the Queensland Museum in 2013, researchers put it into the 'too hard basket' as it was one of a kind. Thanks to the Covid lockdowns, museum staff had the time to properly investigate & identify it.

A long shot here - I follow a guy called Malcolm Hill on Twitter. He used to work for EMI Music in both the UK and Australia, but he also claims that he loves football "even though I support Watford and CC Mariners." If I remember rightly, he hails from Kings Langley - him by any chance?Thanks, BB.
