Somewhere on that land lays my vomit, I was playing one evening for Wheeler Whitestar when it was Ellerman's ground, wasn't feeling great, but said I would play. Half way through the game, I had to leave the pitch and throw up in a copse of trees next to the pitch. Then went back on and scored the equaliser.:emoticon-0107-sweat

Just read the three pages of insults on the Sheff Utd site. I find it rather ironic that they brag about smashing our city centre up in the 80's, something I don't remember, yet it was a Hull man who built Meadowhall which decimated their city centre for ever more.

He say's they overtook the city centre not smashing it up, they did run us ragged a couple of times though, once outside of Trog Bar, a incident Cowans wrote about in his Sheff Utd Hoolie book and another time at the back of Tower after the game.

There was a game bout 76ish were there was trouble down North road after the game for bout half hour that was front page of the HDM at the time, in fairness some of there supporters have it correct that it's a early 70's to mid 80's rivalry for the older generation of City supporters based on antics on and off the pitch.

Was a time when they'd nick your scarf, now it's left to thieving gits in the pub post match! :emoticon-0100-smile

Neither, it was Steverico who claimed he thought the scarf was a friend's, yeah a likely tale! Give up smoking. :emoticon-0100-smile

Probably one of these smokers who arrives home after a good session with a dozen assorted lighters in his pockets:emoticon-0102-bigsm

    That's a good following,wish I'd considered it myself:emoticon-0101-sadsm

Hopefully the players will react to it and put themselves about a bit,the last game at ours was a weak performance against a physical outfit.Get stuck in City,we can get something from this if we don't allow them to bully us!!

There is an irony in Sharp playing for the Blunts.
