Fancy us to get a point tomorrow night. The signs were there on Saturday that we’re getting back on the horse. If either or both are fit, I would like to see Eaves and/or the new Iranian lad starting
It’s rife at the moment. My Daughter came out of isolation on Sunday, after she had tested positive for 8 days consecutively. My lad tested positive the very next day, this morning. He’s absolutely gutted to be missing the game tomorrow night. How I have managed to dodge it so far is a miracle. I’m trying to find an away game we can do together within reasonable distance before the end of the season.
Boro away wouldn't be bad, 9/4. I mean it's Middlesbrough, so you pay your money etc. Peterborough is also pretty easy to get to on train, 26/2.
For all that Eaves has improved tremendously in recent games, that is a very generous description. More true to say, Eaves will sometimes get to the ball without giving away a foul or being offside, and when that happens he will successfully get it under control some of the time, and when that happens about half the time he will pass it to an opponent or straight into touch. Most of us love Tom Eaves for the attitude and the effort, but we need a better player in that position and I'd give Forss a bit longer to see if he might be the answer.
Cheers - I’ve done both these grounds before a few times. I was looking for a new ground tick as well. Not sure there’s much left on the fixture list that would satisfy that criteria. Football training on Saturday mornings pretty much hinders away travel. I used to be on away direct - wouldn’t have the time for that nowadays
This one made me laugh though: A Hull fan at work has bought a ticket for his dad, his brother and his cousin. It cost him £33.
Sorry, I meant to add I’m glad Ron Jr is negative. It seems completely random as to how long you test positive for. My work colleague was still testing positive 12 days on from his first test.
Always lively when we played the Blunts back in the Fer Ark days. Terrence culture and Keith Edwards spiced up the fixture back then but the truth is both Sheffield clubs still see us a sleepy hollow and a stepping stone to some sort of glory that never really happens or if it does rarely lasts very long.
It's such an easy, and pointless game they try to play. The Yorkshire city overrun by ‘beggars and druggies’ that no one wants to shop in 'Spice zombies' and other drug users have become a common sight in the city centre. Take a wander around and you will be forced to confront the daytime drug use that has become a mainstay of the city-centre shopping experience, with "spice zombies" everywhere from West Street all the way to the Moor. Outside Sheffield Cathedral, drug and alcohol users can often be seen slumped, unresponsive and often in need of emergency service assistance. When asked if they felt safe in the area, the worker, who did not want to be named, said: "The word safe is relative depending on how many down-and-outs are about and how many people are on spice. "Two or three years ago I'd have been happy for my teenage daughter to meet me in the centre for lunch, I wouldn't now; I wouldn't let her come and meet me at work, I'd meet her off the tram." They added: "I'd still shop in the area because I'm here, but I'm sure that the more elderly people feel vulnerable when they're out and the other thing is that you just walk over people who are collapsed. "A few years ago I'd have thought 'I need to phone an ambulance' - I wouldn't now." https://www.examinerlive.co.uk/news/local-news/yorkshire-city-overrun-beggars-druggies-20923470
For a club who "have spent most of our history in the lower leagues (wrong) with fans who only go if we can't get a ticket for Bellend Road" we don't half ruffle some feathers
Just had a look at their forum too god they think here’s bad! When I went to work there I e never met such verbally slow people in all my life .(except a very close relative)If you ask a question don’t expect a quick simple answer. Friendly but stuck in a time warp. I went to small companies you’d be sat in reception and Mrs Overalls would wander past with a tray . It’s so dark and dismal tell the guy to go to Pitsmoor and the like if he thinks hull was dodgy. At least we can see the sky ! When you look where Sheffield is it should be in Derbyshire or even Lancashire . But as the mother in law is there and we visit very regularly I must say I love the place (It’s Valentine’s Day )
Why have they got a thread devoted to what we're saying about them? I assume they do it for every game but still. Are they really that precious?
