Not arguimg Grayson isnt a lifelong Leeds fan. Bates pushed KS out after he seen the pound signs. If you lose a striker who can score 30 goals in a season of course you are going to miss him. As for Gradel he wanted to ho as he didnt like the direction your heading

Actually Grayson chose to sell Schmeichel because he knew he could get a better replacement (which he did).

It doesn't matter if Grayson is a Leeds fan! Money is all anyone in football is after these days. The sad truth I'm afraid.

Once again, if that was true he would have gone to Burnley.

And as I said, his long term future would be better at Leeds than Burnley. But better at Leicester than either of those.

I dont think that Martin O'Neill would go back to leicester to be honest. Its obvious why he's the favourite for the job but I dont think he seems in a rush to get a job. I think hughes is more likely but i personally dont really rate him as a manager. For leicester to become successful this season, they need to take a manager from this league that knows it well. I would go with someone like Gus Poyet being a good signing or Nigel Adkins not that either of them would go there. Personally i think the best appointment for you guys would be someone like Dave Jones (although i hate the ****).

On a side point, i dont think grayson would go to leicester, He has set his ambitions on getting leeds promoted, he has built his own squad here and he is a lifelong leeds fan.

Josh, I'm amazed - a good post and I actually agree with all this. I thought about Poyet and Adkins myself and Jones wouldn't be too bad. Agree Hughes wouldn't be the best option and definitely not Billy Davies. I don't think it will be too hard to make a sensible appointment, there are quite a few serious contenders out there.

Regarding Grayson, I admit I was winding you lot up on this one, but that said, you're still in denial if you think he wouldn't leave you for a juicier prospect. But I would imagine he would see Leicester as a big risk. Besides, I would be surprised if we really did consider him.

I dont think it would be hard to make a sensible appointment, you could make a massive mistake appointing someone like McClaren though and thats what they need to watch for.

i think grayson would leave for a juicier prospect but i dont think he would leave for leicester. If leicester were in the prem, then i think it would be a serious decision he would have to make, however the way i see it, he thinks we can get promotion this year.

Ive returned to see the majority of the thread is SG based. I only included SG in the poll because the bookies mark him as an outsider and the majority of people discusiing in this thread would be Leeds fans. I personally know that SG wont move. The only way would be if Ken Bates could sell him to us. Hell Ken Bates would sell his own mother if he beleived he could.

MON alwys jumps to bookies favourite but i think he's waiting for Arsene or Fergie to step down.

My choice would be O'Driscoll but TOP will never appoint him becuase he isnt a name. I expect names like Carlo Ancelotti will get battered about soon enough.

Well no, the thread has alot to do with SG because a leicester fan said that they could get any manager in the league if they wanted to. I tried to prove otherwise. MON will not go to leicester i think. Carlo Ancelotti's name has been put around a lot but again i dont think it is that attractive a job as what you guys are making out

Strachan's name is up there. I met him in Barbados somewhile ago, & one thing he won't be doing is to return to league management. But in answer to the question, McClaren would be a fair bet. MON would be a good choice if Leicester thought he'd stay the course. Mark Hughes would also be a good choice.

I agree with something someone else wrote. I suspect the Thais will want a name, & therefore MON will be their first choice.

Grayson said Leicester is a club close to his heart but the Leeds job means more then any other. He also said rather interestingly that he expects Martin O'Neill to take the job if he is offered the job

Today's paper are saying MON would take the job aslong as the owners give him assurances like how long he would get if they don't hit the ground running and how much money he would get. Alot of signs look like MON is the man but I still don't think he will come but nothing will surprise me

Lee Clark just ruled out applying for the job aswell. Don't think he stood a chance anyway nor did Grayson as the owners want a big name

I would have liked him here, shame.

Proud Fox, i thought what was more interesting is that huddersfield have gone on a 40 game unbeaten streak.... thats quite impressive, especially ina competitive league like that

They lost in the playoffs 3-0 so that status wrong

For the amount of money they have spent in that league and the amount of time he has spent there he should of got them up by now. But he is still a good manager

ah fair enough, doesnt sound as impressive if you've lost in that 40 game unbeaten run

If all its taking to get MON at the helm is to give him some assurances of security then bloody give him it. His track record is unquestionable and his love for our club is unquestionable.

I couldn't give a flying ****e who takes over at leicester

Thanks for for posting a message in a thread you dont care about. Most people would simply back out of the thread...but your a renegade who sticks his middle finger up to comformity. A real Jimmy Dean!
