We did the old 3-4-3 vs Brentford and looked wafer-thin. Completely changing the dynamic in CM would be a really bad idea. You could probably get away with 3-5-2, but I'm not sure Max/Wood up front is the right combo.

I wouldn't be against parking the bus at West ham.

    A point would be good

    Ahh so we are agreed!

Yeah absolutely not sold on Max up top I'd have Willock playing in the hole behind wood as he has the work rate to belt up and down, Jonjo, Joe and Bruno behind them

It's an option if Bruno can play in the DM role. But Joey owns that position right now so we shouldn't move him.

Krafth had a decent game at home to man united mind.

Ok he's not great, but he doesn't give up

I honestly think I'd rather play Joe there than Murphy or Krafth

Joelinton really is a tremendous cm though

Nah we need to go for the win. West Ham's form has been pretty poor lately and they should have lost to Leicester cos their late goal was a handball.

Yeah, so play to strengths. So we have one weak position (well, two if you include Wood). Better that than breaking up this midfield trio or upsetting the CB's.

I trust to Howe, if Krafth plays it's because he's good enough to do the job asked of him. End of.

West ham are a much better side than Leeds Everton and villa and its away.

Nufc are now in a position where a point is good enough most weeks.. I'd definitely be thinking about the counter on this game.

Obviously whatever happens if the results wrong people will say Howe should've done this or that. Howe definitely seems to know what he's doing, so I'm pretty confident he'll have us set up well.

Isn't it nice to know the manager knows what he's doing?

Indeed but it also gets Bruno in the cm without playing Krafth Murphy or Ritchie.

Personally I'd just play Murphy and keep the team as it was, but I'm merely posing an outside the box idea that gets our best players on the pitch

West Ham's recent form isn't good - losing at home to Leeds, losing to a crap Man U team, only just beating Kidderminster and needing a bad decision to get a last gasp draw against Leicester, who themselves aren't that great atm.

We're on a good run right now and WH having a dodgy period, best time to be playing then.

Get the defense solid, but attack on break too.

I agree there's no doubt there, but I would definitely go there and keep it tight.

The clubs behind us now have to win, so we've got something to hold onto that we didn't until recently.

I'm not saying don't go there to win, but I definitely don't think we should go there and risk being blown away.. Stay in the game and after a while their fans will start moaning and they'll go quiet.

We've also gained goal difference advantage which is a point essentially and we need to keep that

They seem to suspect ligament damage but it's not confirmed.

    Read it today

Nah him and Burn are all left foot. Right footers tend to do better on the other side, left footers just look like a fish out of water.

Mad idea. Could Bruno step in? Short stint for the team, endear himself to his teammates. Gets through on talent alone. Gets a bit of game time away from hussle bussle of midfield with little expectation on him.
