i will start to watch it when they change the name to 'american passball' cos it's nowt to do with feet so how can it be 'football'!!!
aye to give it's full title rugby football but it is known more commonly by rugby, that american game is 99% hands, they hold the ball, throw/pass the ball, carry the ball...feet only used for field goal attempt, kick off or odd penalty therefore 'passball or handball' far more apt name...i mean they took our lassies game of rounders and renamed it basball, did the same with netball and renamed it basketball...also have a 'world series' that only has american teams in it!!
I haven't missed one for years but will most likely this one as I'm offshore. Always managed to get lucky and the 2 I've previously been offshore for have been Patriots games so I bit the bullet and stayed up! Was worth it both times lol.
Although I am still tempted to stay up

For those looking in thinking it's a crap sport, I would seriously encourage you to give it a go. Theirs no other sport that ebbs and flows like NFL, a good few of the games in this years play offs were considered over only for the losing team to come back and win it. Some games have a 20 odd point difference and the losing team comes back to win.
No other sport will see a team go ahead with 13 seconds on the clock, in a massively important game, only to still end up losing! Epic. And people say it's a slow and boring game because it can be stop start

It's a great sport and growing bigger and bigger in the UK, the London games sell out in no time!

I'm a massive Raiders fans and saw us play the Bears in London in 2019. Virtually the whole of Chicago turned out for it.
Went to LA and saw Chargers v Vikings this year. That SoFi stadium really is something else, it's like a stadium within a theme park, fantastic place to host it to be honest.
I actually thought the Bears had cracked it in 2018 with that great season only to lose in Wildcard game!
And last year I was going mad at the draft when Patriots didn't trade up for Justin Fields! He's the QB I really wanted Belichick to take but I suppose Mac didn't work out too bad in his rookie season.
The Americans definitely know how to build a stadium and surround it with everything a fan needs. I went to Gillette Stadium in 2018 for Patriots Vs Colts and the whole experience was unreal and having the chance to watch Tom Brady play was something I will never forget!
That’s a bit over my head, I don’t follow the drafts I just watch for the leagues then playoffs then final, I miss the channel 4 show of the 80’s summed it all up in 60 mins and got you excited
