We were outclassed, simple as that. So now we go to Sheffield United, which will be equally as tough as they're on a roll and will probably be lucky to get a point. But that's where we are at the moment. We can produce giant killing, FA Cup style performances, but with the squad we've got, that's the best we can hope for against better quality teams. It's the games against the teams around us where it matters, which was why Derby was so disappointing.

I know we were outclassed and you are correct, I don't know what the coach said to them BUT ............... and here it comes, I am entitled to express an opinion even if it doesn't coincide with yours or others. And I respect your right to have a different opinion to me. In my opinion we could have done something different in the last five minutes. Even if it's throwing someone from the back line up front and pumping long balls in. Just something different. 1-0 or 2-0, what's the difference? a goal. Might have ended 1-1. We'll never know.

That wasn't up for debate, it goes without saying that it's your opinion and nothing I've said invalidates that. I'm questioning your opinion, hence the discussion.

Losing 1-0 to Fulham, there's no shame in that. Chucking a centre half up front once we go one nil down against a Fulham side 11 points clear of the playoffs is the definition of suicide. It also wouldn't have done the morale of the boys any good to have been battered and with a young squad, I think it's important to keep the squad mentality positive.

Mood was always good in that group no matter how bad it got, it even shocked the lad I’m pals with.:emoticon-0148-yes:

Be sarcastic all you want pal, I speak to him nearly everyday. I’m off to the game with him on Tuesday I’ll make sure to ask what the moods like just for you.
