Your exactly right, people pass stuff on in good faith, you either choose to believe it or not. As for Keane, the blokes irrelevant now, I wont give him a second thought, he had a great opportunity and let it slip through his fingers for whatever reason. If you truly want something you make it happen somehow. Time to get behind the new fella and the lads and try and do our bit to push them over the line.
You'd have to assume that's Keane done with management if he's chosen to stay as a pundit. No-one in the PL, Championship or SPL is interested in him. Feels like we were his last chance

I take it all in blind faith as well mate. I should know better, but the hope gets the better of me.

I'm not raging if it turns out to be wrong though. Just disappointed. Hope they all carry on passing info on though.
Same. I almost fell out with a couple of good mates in this last 2 weeks when I was insisting Keane was coming and Speakmann was talking ****e about these "2nd interviews"

Not saying the ITKs were wrong because they pass on the info they get, but think we all need to take things with a pinch of salt because often this intel doesn't mean it's actually happening

The whole "the deal is done" thing is weird though because I heard it from multiple sources on here and elsewhere. Maybe people were just over confident about a verbal agreement. Bit like that time I got an "agreement in principle" on my 1st mortgage only for those ****s to then turn me down

Yep. And it could be that the sources are the ones being overly confident rather than the itks. Hard to say.

But yes, lesson needs to be to take a collective deep breath I guess..... hard when there's so much emotion involved though.

I get it’s still possible but people need to be realistic. Finishing 3rd and finding some form before the play-offs is our aim now.
100%. Been saying that since the Bolton defeat. Forget the top 2, we have to now do what we've failed to do in the last 5 seasons and finish strongly. If we find some form then we will be the team to fear in the play offs

somebody mentioned SISgrass...

"The machine can stitch a full-size hybrid football pitch in just 7 days using electricity, a huge step forward in reducing the environmental footprint of each pitch installation."

only 7 days for a prepared pitch, rather different to the 5 weeks mentioned a few weeks ago, let's hope it works.

Aye, I read the 7 day thing and I posted the video about palace's pitch taking 5 weeks. If it's only going to take 7days I wonder why we have waited so long to do it. Seems strange.

If that is what we are doing then fantastic. Another positive step in giving the team the best chance.
