Preston and Norwich fans seem unanimous in their praise that Alex Neil plays aggressive, attacking football with tactical nous and is all about winning.

The only people who seem to think he wouldn’t be a top appointment are Sunderland fans :D
I did , then there was the Keane fiasco. The most annoying thing if we get Neil is that if the club hadn't pissed about he could have been in the dugout before the Doncaster game, but it seemed KLD had decided on Keane but Speakman has spent the last 11days ****ing that up

What’s the most frustrating for me is that we spent 2 weeks trying to convince Keane when Alex Neil would have probably accepted immediately.

Yep. We should have got to the bottom of whether Keane was coming or not very quickly.

needs to be Neil now, but FFS make it before the weekend. The current triumvirate need removing urgently

Now its a “simpler” candidate I’d be amazed if its not announced today.

The club need to take whatever the response is on the chin. Announcing nothing will be worse than announcing something that some find a disappointment now

I’m half expecting a statement with Speakman explaining that we will undertake a trial period with Neil getting the next two games and then McCann the two after that.

Then we will plug the performance data into the computer whilst they do a verbal reasoning test and a mock press conference.

Then we will do a psychological test to understand how their behaviour changes in a stressful environment.

After that we will plug all the scores together in a weighted average and identify who our preferred choice is.

Then we will ask what salary they want, and whoever is cheapest will be appointed.

Wimbledon has sold out and Sunderland supporters have bought tickets in the home sections ...

.... if we put in a good performance we could go into the MK match in second place.

There could easily be 30,000 there who haven't totally lost their faith.

Well, from a footballing perspective I personally think we’ve got a better outcome with Neil coming in rather than Keane.

If he comes in!!

Football Insider been spot on with us and said McCann.

Just got to hope KEEEEF is coming through

True but I reckon there's still a chance to get out of this ****ty league. We can only do that if everyone pulls together. Protests will only be a distraction imo

I agree, it's been a **** two weeks, but we don't need any more distractions this season, so let's pull together behind the team and the manager (whoever that may be) and try to secure promotion, either automatically or by the play-offs. If we go up all this will be put to the back burner. If we fail, then the inquests can start and the fingers pointed.
