How's that supposed to help the team get promoted? No matter who the new head coach is, the whole fan base needs to get behind him and the team and encourage them to get promoted
Wimbledon has sold out and Sunderland supporters have bought tickets in the home sections ... .... if we put in a good performance we could go into the MK match in second place. There could easily be 30,000 there who haven't totally lost their faith.
It's not the " not Keane " element that bothers me so much, though I would have welcomed him. It is the demonstration of incompetence that shows how far haven't come . As for who comes in, I'd like Neil Critchley, though I doubt it will be him. But I would worry for anyone working under the leadership right now. They are lost in deep water and appear to be flapping about in a panic.
Odds tumbling on Neil now https://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials/sunderland/next-permanent-manager
Yep. The support will more or less always be there. But this whole, unavoidable fiasco has done damage to the relationship between the club and many supporters.
You are replying to one of them. I only replied to the other lad about the fans on this forum I don’t know how the other 30,000 think.
No surprise there! Place is full of people just itching to have a go.There'll be dozens of keyboard takers.......until they've actually got to turn up.
Major damage, with football supporters is rectified by a Defoe screamer, a good win at Wimbledon and second place ... ... a win at Wigan and people will be booking SAFC tattoos
Why? The grand upshot is, we've dropped 6 points. The squad has been unbalancef all season. There's no reason why we can't get back on track and go up. People are going over the top about it.
Probably the extra 8k that turned up and booed at half time.. we don't have any information at all from either side yet total emotional breakdowns everywhere.
The whole fan base is looking at a fifth year in league one mate, you can’t say the fans haven’t pulled their weight. Look at the last home game and the numbers we had. It’s incompetence and someone needs to be held accountable.
I agree mate, would have loved Keane but the thing that’s bothering me most is sacking LJ without a plan in place.
