If you can edit the name of the group, we could always remove the word GPRO, as that's probably what's directing search engines to us. That way you'd have to try really hard (or know the group exists) to find it. Not606 Racing Team works fine I guess.

Edit: Just double checked how visible the group is, without being logged in, you can read all the content on the group.

not606 Racing Team

Everyone OK with that name?

I think that is a good idea, as that was the main reason why I created the group in the first place, to keep our secrets to our selves.

If you go -$15 Million your driver will loss all his Motivation.

Problem is i am $7.613.520 in the positive with only 2 races left. :S

EDIT:
Ok I just checked, if I update all my car parts it will cost me $29,968,985 wich leaves me with $-22,355,465

Do i have to finnish the season in positive? I should know as I have thoroughly read about everything I came across but having been without internet for some time and the stress of having qualify close in 1 hour my head is in the blank. :S
/EDIT

Train your driver, buy new Facilities, go testing until you are only just positive, and then replace EVERYTHING on your car at once. That will get you a nice negative balance.

Then you can offer drivers contracts, as they cost $500k each time you offer.

What I did is to offer the drivers $1, then cancel the bid, then bid again. It quickly mounts up.

Sorry i updated my post above while you replied. Do i have to finish season in positive to keep him? If i update my stuff to just pass negative 15 mill, with only 2 races it could be difficult to earn back 15 mil to end in positive..

No, if you stay in Rookie the season is reset and as long as your driver is below OA85 you'll keep him.

Don't forget to train your driver first, you can't train him with a negative balance.

Yay you're the man! :D

<cheers>

whew finished race setup with 5 minutes left. I didn't have time to check fuel consumption and stuff, so I went extra soft and 50 50 50 50 trying to go for pole but Q1 was almost as slow as Q2. Starting in 6th and increased everything to 20 20 20 20 on the aggressive settings. Will be a fun experiment.

Good luck everyone! And thanks for last minute help.

EDIT:
dang forgot to load my Q2 settings :(
Noticed it with 3 seconds left on timer and was too slow.. GAH

EDIT 2:
Oh yeah! "if you fail to enter race setup for the car, the qualify 2 settings will be used by default"
All happy again :D cheers beers for everyone <cheers>

Spamming this thread much am I?

also dont forget to use mega high risks in the last race as all parts will have 0% wear :)

HAHAHA did you guys see this on lap 40 in the comments..

Oh dear, a squirrel is running across the track! Hopefully it won't get hit by any of the cars

lol

Finished 3rd. 3 points off 4th place going into the last race, plus chances that at least one of the top 4 could finish in negative balance.

Was it just me or was that race very hard on car wear? Just spent £22m updating/repairing my car. <yikes>

Started 15th, finished 6th, so fairly happy. You can tell it's nearly the end of the season as 10 or so people had mechanical failures! Unlucky Jose, you had the beating of me for most of the race until your retirement.

Mifune, by saying we should have a team, do you mean promotion should be assured? Well done!

Well happyal in 4th and I have still got a chance of promotion, so one of us should get promoted.

Started 18th and finished 14th. Went with 2 stops on soft tyres for data mainly. Got fuel wrong though and stopped 2 laps from end.
