As said before ...we watch now in preference to the bbc, which was full of self advertising for strictly come dancing etc.

Well ..we did until Eamon Holmes came on and lowered the tone.
But the interviews are interesting and do go through the spectrum..and they often have slightly different viewpoints to the standard (right/left) ones ITV and BBC.

We watch in the morning...and when something big politically happens..they cover it pretty well

Totally agree Beth. I just don’t get this thing that some people have with GB news, in that it is supposedly ‘Far Right’, therefore everything on it is outrageous and should be de platformed….mostly coming from those that have never watched it.
As you rightly say, it does have some interesting interviews with “News type” stories, rather than the “Love Island” or “Strictly” ones we seem to endlessly get from the others.
if you don’t like people like Farage, he’s easy to ignore and turn off (which I do)…..but they at least seem to be trying to give a voice to the Left as well.

I don’t think it’s all outrageous or should be de-platformed. It was very, very, very gammony to begin with and well done them for trying to be a bit less gammony.

So what did you actually watch that you thought was “V, v, v gammony”….? Or did you just hear it was like that ?
So I’m assuming that you feel the black presenters on there are just token ? Or Coconuts ? Or too stupid to realise they are being used ?

Only the absolute dross that was shared on here at the time. You shouldn’t assume, mate.

Its alright actually. Got over the teething problems and plenty of Left Wing voices on there, like Paul Embery and Gloria De Piero…..even had a few interviews with GG which is surprising from a channel that’s supposedly right wing.
Dunno if the Neo-Libs on here will like it though

Why wouldn't they?

Farage has had Ken Livingstone on and Graham Stringer. It's a far 50/50 discussion unlike O'Brien who tries to trick or humiliate guests that don't suit his political agenda

So you didn’t actually see anything…….interesting.
It’s human nature to assume.

I suppose it is. No, I doubt any black presenters are there because they’re stupid. They’re probably there because it’s their best offer.

Genuinely though I’m glad if it’s more than just telling old right wing victims what they want to hear.

It definitely is. As Beth says, it beats the usual self appreciation of the BBC or the dumb down news from ITV.

Great. What do they make of this absolute shambles that is meant to be running the country?
They have had on a lot of critical Tories, very few pro-Boris Tories, but I may have missed them.
They run with opinions on most "stories". The one I was most staggered/interested by was by a young Islamic guy who explained the attraction of jihadism. I understood what he was meaning...I had not thought about it before in that way.

As I say it is interesting but the best way to find out is to look yourself and see if it is your cup of tea.
