No, I didn’t say that. I said there should be due process. So as not to prejudice a fair trial or reveal the identity of the victim (although she seems to have done that herself). The latest rumour is about her account being hacked - so things may not be as they seem. This is my point - don’t jump to conclusions based on posts on social media.

Exactly. Let's all make a list of those that should be punished without first being convicted of anything. I'm sure we can all agree on everyone who should be on the list.

Yes you're right, and I'm sure that explanation covers all of the people who have commented on the story here. Unfortunately there is another group who have no concept of the rule of law, only of the rule of the mob (not that they would comprehend they are in that group). We have to stand up for these rules because once you start the slide into mob rule it happens faster than you think and enables previously good people to become animals. I've seen some things that has led me to conclude that civilisation is just a thin veneer so perhaps overreact when things like this happen.

Not interested, because as I have said, the matter is now in the hands of the judiciary. When the AV stuff is presented in court, then I will decide how much of it I want to see myself (news media "executive summary" of it may in fact suffice for me) .
I don't trust our legal system to adequately and accurately pursue a case against a rich person. Not on the same scale, of course, but how many in the game have we seen evade justice for driving offences, for example? I'm sure he'll get the best defence that money can buy and there was already a block on reporting previous ****, allegedly.
