Only watched highlights of yesterday and Starmer did a good job, Blackford did well, but didn't know when to stop...as others have said though, probably knew what he was doing in going too far. What I don't get, is that Johnson sat there like a grumpy school kid grumbling and tutting and shaking his head. He comes across as the opposite of Prime Ministerial, and yesterday his faults were laid bare for all to see.

How anyone on the Tory benches can defend him, or stand by him is beyond me. Surprised I haven't finished my morning's work to news of his resignation, but surely it can't be long. The only politician I can think of, from the past decade or so, who I'd be happy to see as PM is David Miliband. How his brother won the leadership is beyond me, and if David Miliband re-entered politics he'd have my vote. Always seemed an an honest, intelligent and honourable man...which is probably why he left the farce of British politics to pursue a career elsewhere.

There’s genuinely nothing wrong with Starmer at all. He’s a perfectly good candidate/opposition leader. Tory sympathisers will find any old **** to pin on him or just make something up but even if you go down the “aLl PoLiTiCiAnS aRe ****s” route the government want to send you down, he’s nowhere near as bad in any respect as 99% of them and totally incomparable to most of the government including the actual ****ing Prime Minister.

I doubt Sir Keir "Forget democracy, let's have a People's vote" Starmer will attract many Brexit votes.

That’s a shame if it means our many turkeys voting for Christmas yet again. I agree with you though.

Do you not think Brexit voters will want to 'move on'?

I have every confidence in Prime Minster Truss forgetting her own original views and fighting the next election somehow on a “get Brexit done” ticket yet again. What else have they really got? We didn’t kill literally everyone with Covid?

Well, perhaps by the time the GE comes around. Starmer has to stand for something by then though, he has to have distinct policies that encourage Brexit voters to forget the past. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt at present, that he doesn't want to publicise any good ideas in case Boris steals them.

No need to worry about Russia invading Ukraine anymore - good old BawJaws has gone over there and told big ole Vlad that if he dares step one foot on Ukrainian soil he'll not get invite to the next work event at Downing Street even if he brings a suitcase full of Stoly...

We can all relax now, WW3 is not gonna happen on Boris' watch

Et tu Brutus? Nothing new in politicos stabbing each other in the back. Bet Corbyn stabbed Miliband in the back to get the top job. Said it before, they're all ****s no matter what colour rosette they wear

Its alright actually. Got over the teething problems and plenty of Left Wing voices on there, like Paul Embery and Gloria De Piero…..even had a few interviews with GG which is surprising from a channel that’s supposedly right wing.
Dunno if the Neo-Libs on here will like it though

As said before ...we watch now in preference to the bbc, which was full of self advertising for strictly come dancing etc.

Well ..we did until Eamon Holmes came on and lowered the tone.
But the interviews are interesting and do go through the spectrum..and they often have slightly different viewpoints to the standard (right/left) ones ITV and BBC.

We watch in the morning...and when something big politically happens..they cover it pretty well
