It wasn't long ago when certain managers on a Sky panel were saying only the desperate clubs buy in January and the better run clubs dont panic because they have the team in place.

A very good window...
MOST IMPORTANT nobody left (except deWisj). Doesn't even seem if anybodies heads were turned. That is such a good result

After Archer got injured, we did have a slight panic, but was nearly sorted immediately and we may have ended Jan with a better goalie than we began Jan with.

Dion Sanderson, seems ideal for us (in his place not so sure, what this will do for him). Strong, young agile, adaptable, very keen. We will lose Dickie for a two match suspension at some point I am sure. And it would be miraculous if we got through to the end of season without an injury in back 3.

Hendrick I cannot see so much, but Warburton was obviously really looking for an attacking midfielder (Lawrence, Patterson...we ended up with Hendrick).

As far as I can see we now have a full and nearly healthy squad...Gray and Chair are back. Dieng on his way (but Marshall is playing as though he don't want to give up the shirt). Moses, Wallace and McCallum, are coming back to fitness. Field is really improving in every game. Adomeh and Willock are playing out of their skin. It is a tight squad. I think this has been a good window, a very good window.

Parker and Bournemouth are throwing everything at promotion (remind you of anyone???). They have secret Russian money behind them.

Must say I still glad I support my little team...rather than Bournemouth, even if they buy promotion

As well as Marshall has done, I still think Dieng is the better all round keeper, especially for our style of play.
Perfectly understandable if Dieng has to wait for a while though.

The more I think about it the better this transfer window becomes... we're arguably in a stronger position than at the start of January having made 3 astute loan signings.....
Now the fun begins...... we've 19 games left.... win 11 of those and we have 84 points, which should be very close to 2nd automatic spot.... we're the form team in the division over last 6 games.... at the moment we have no real long term injury issues..... we've given ourselves a hell of a chance of automatic.....
This has just got very real...... exciting isn't it....

Millwall have just signed Luke Freeman on loan until the end of the season. I think I'd rather have had him back than Hendrick.

There's a career that stalled, then has gone steadily downhill since he left us. Take note Willock, Chair, Dieng et al, the bright lights of sitting on a bench in the Premier League isn't always the best way to advance your career

When he was on form he was brilliant….was gutted to see him go as I think if he had stayed he could have become someone special.

It was Freeman that was blocking Ezes progress. They couldn't play together. So Freeman left and we got a little money

Likewise Eze went and Chair blossomed.

Freeman could only come back to replace Chair or Willock...and he is nowhere near the class of either them.

So no thanks Freeman.
Hendrick is a bit different...( like Thomas)... so a much better fit for our squad

Neither have been regular starters or done **** all for the last 3 years. It's obvious who Warbs wanted and Hendrick wasn't that player, it's almost as if it was well we need cover for Willock and Chair but we haven't got that player so let's just bring in a midfielder who doesn't score and hardly assists to cover if any other midfielder gers injured.
