Very surprised that Hugill was cleared in time to start.
3 changes with a couple that wont have trained together.
A big risk.
Its a line up I was hoping to see next week.

Cardiff City XI
: Smithies; Drameh, McGuinness, Morrison, Ng; Wintle, Ralls, Doughty; Doyle; Hugill, Watters.

Subs: Phillips, Bagan, Flint, Pack, Vaulks, Collins, Davies.
I like it!
If we don't change things, they'll stay the same. And what's life without taking a chance?
Well done SM

Good showing from Hugill so far.... Strong and committed.

Drameh doing well too.

My concern is we are ceding a lot of possession and Johnson has the run on Doughty when he gets going. He isn't getting a huge amount of help out there...

Big second half coming up!!

Fantastic win and a testament to Steve Morison's approach.
And before the doom and gloom starts about the late goal conceded, can we please spend a bit of time celebrating a great win and an improving performance?
Bloooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooobirds

It was a shame about the clean sheet, I honestly thought the team deserved one for their efforts, but it shows how you can't switch off for a moment in this league.

The all round effort from the team was outstanding and if Hugill can settle, he could really make a big difference to our survival battle.

Beating them is no mean feat.... Well done to all.

Just saw brief highlights. Davis put a big shove in on Ng to get space for the header. The ref missed those all afternoon especially the rugby tackle on Morro in their box.

Great displays all round. The loaners have certainly taken us up a notch or two with Boyle bringing some Man City class in midfield.

Another 3 points at Barnsley midweek will give us the much needed breathing space.

A really good performance.

Weve done well in the window. The young loanees have added energy and quality. Hugill looks far better than Collins.

Ng and Ralls were both superb today.

Davies as well a right handful when he came on.
