I think he should sack him. No brainer for me in fact. We have purposefully build a club structure that allows managers to be sacked more often as needed. LJ's job is purely results. Player development etc has been great - but thats Speakman's job, not LJ's.

Putting myself in KLD's shoes and trying to think how I think he thinks...

Reasons to keep him
  • I am trying to look calm and measured, like there is a plan. I'm not sacking him after one big defeat in a match where if we'd won we'd have gone top
  • I planned to give him the season, need to keep a calm head
  • Transfer window closes on Monday and it might send a bad message to potential incomings if we look in disarray with no manager.

Reasons to remove
  • This is embarrassing and has happened way too often
  • The trend is not looking good, we have a battle to go up permanently now
  • Its looking more and more likely he can't sustain a winning period
  • I need to keep the fans onside for my own reputation and relationship with them
  • There is still time for a new manager to turn things round (just)
  • Transfer window closes on Monday and it might send a bad message to potential incomings if we KEEP hm

Hugely disappointed in the powers that be at our club
Firstly for keeping the manager on for this season, ridiculous decision, and secondly the state of the pitch, it is a disgrace, there will be an awful lot of Sunday football teams play on a better surface than ours

He doesn’t seem the type to sack someone. Hope he proves me wrong, but he is very pally with LJ so won’t be getting my hopes up.

Could agree more mate. If that pitch was like that with Donald and co in charge there'd be absolute hell on. Now KLD is in its an acceptance for some reason.

Wouldn’t say that people accept the state of the pitch, it’s horrendous and going to affect the rest of our season. One of the worst pitches I’ve ever seen so KLD should definitely be asked questions about it.

However we can’t do anything mid season and our own ability to self destruct will do more damage than the pitch.

manager of the month to this, laughable but no suprise. Amature groundsmen and manager down there and now owner. not renewing next season either with these in charge. Worst thing is players like Stewart etc will **** off now and we are left with Grigg, flanagan etc, jesus.
