We don't have raphinha though and are not close to that. We do have ox for robbo to pump the ball at.

The plan might well be to move mane on but for next season I'd assume a direct battle between Diaz and mane personally as that would be forcing both to be at their best.

We also underestimate mane at 9 and aerial ability. Imo he could easily take that role on from firmino and you could as easily go jota/mane there

Finally he played rw first season for us and could play there though I feel it would be a last resort as he is then more limited.

Imo Bobby is far more likely to be the one phased.out as he is moving less freely.

But the current 5 for 3 is a luxury I've not seen probably ever but certainly not since 2001 when fowler was forced out.

I know we don’t? In same way we also still have mane.

Only reason I say Mane is we have 3 players for the left if we sign Diaz, and mane is out of contract in 18 months and seems no talk of him signing a new one yet. If he’s not signed a new deal by summer he could be the one we look to move on and then free up a spot for competitor on the right (such as Raphinha?).

Ideal world Diaz and Mane push each other on and both do brilliant, mane signs a new deal and all is good.

I just think that if we’re going to move one on, it seems like we are more keen to keep Salah, Firmino signed new deal recrntly so leaves Mane as the possible last one.

The fun thing is what big better club can we see for mane and firmino? They are basically at their peak of career unlike salah who could move.

I think we have more power over mane and that's why we are not pushing too hard

Traroe moves to Barca, loan with a deal in place to buy in the summer.

Such a strange one. Maybe in Spain he’ll be a better player with his speed and physicality out doing a lot of the more technical players.

Xavi trying to fill squad with more Spaniards. First Torres and now traore. Shipped out coutinho. Trying to shift dembele and untiti.

He's also HG for Barca (not just Spain, but Barca) came through their youth system

To be quite honest how barca think they can even register the players I do not know.

Have they even resolved the torres debacle?

The millstone that is dembele is still round their necks.

Their actions after the neymar disaster (in their minds) were utterly cataclysmic for their club. Their egos couldnt take losing a player who frankly was a lazy no good schister and 200mil lead to double or treble that in waste.

Klopp lost coutinho for 142mil and improved his side. They destroyed their and yet banks still keep giving them money.

I think Countinho out freed up the space and the money Villa are paying for his wages put them under the threshold needed to register Torres

They probably can't get their heads around the idea of Barca not being at the top. They think it can only be a matter of time before they resume their rightful place.
A bit like all those people in this country that keep waiting for Man U to regain their seat at the pinnacle of English football.
And have been waiting for nine years so far, when we all know you can be in the doldrums for a lot longer than that.

Yeah they got Untiti to sign a new deal on less money even though they want to get rid of him so they can register Torres

See spurs were set to sign young player from non league lewes. However he’s ‘failed to agree personal terms’ with them.

However lots of reports of him getting buckets of abuse from their fans because he once tweeted about Kane spitting when he talks and the fact he’s an arsenal fan <laugh>

This seems the most likely scenario, cash in on Sadio this summer. It's also been suggested that Jota could be moved central.......we'll see

Luckily most of us on here never had to worry about something we said/posted when we were 16 <laugh>

BBC gossip headline...

"West Ham bid £50m for Phillips"

...Meant Kalvin though, the bastards!
I got excited for half a second too!

Although the next rumour after that is that Leeds rejected 50 million (40+10 in add ons) from West Ham for Raphinha. So either West Ham have offered Leeds 100 million in total, they failed in one bid and tried another, or something's not true.
