Almost did something like that years ago. Put my brand new bike on its sidestand nose first to the quayside in Henley-on-Thames, not noticing the slight slope. Sure enough it slowly started to roll off the stand, almost crippled myself saving it, to the great amusement of a bunch of jolly boat owners nearby. ****s them...

We've all done it; I nearly crippled myself stopping my 250kgs 1250 bandit falling over after I'd parked up in a 'cobbled' area - after that I began leaving my bikes in first gear.
